Thank you for a good entry, size and type were mixed and I found quite a few who were too long for breed proportions. Open Dog was the best class of the day for depth of quality and some of the dogs I liked flagged a little in the heat. Many thanks to my Stewards Donald Goudie and Roger Fowler. 

VD/B (6,2) Good class to start and the first two dogs have both won under me before.
1 Wolfe Ch Hawkeye Polarni Usvit (Imp). Good size and topline and excellent tail which won him this close decision. 7 years old and fit and athletic. BV.
2 Robb Multi Ch Under Icewolf’s Star Inditarod (Imp) JW S 8 years a lovely dog with excellent proportions and topline. Lovely bone and feet.

MPD (1)
1 Armenti Lueldar the Force Awakens, 7 months at the moment a little long and low for balance. Good skull and muzzle. Ears a little large. Sound moving with good stride. Tail carriage was correct. Needs a little more slope to his topline.

PD (3)
1 Ellis Chayo Suspicious Minds, good winner of this class for size and proportions. Strong head and good ear placement. Good movement and topline. Tail a touch tight. BP.
2 Robb & Mayes & Robb Icewolf It’s Supernatural smaller dog with heavy coat on him. His feet are a little open but scored in angulation and movement to take this place.

JD (4)
1 Woodhead Noraisy Take My Breath Away. 13 months old, has quality and type. Good body shape and good tail carriage. Strong head, good eye and ears. Moves with reach and drive. Coat a little open.
2 Fiege Chivas Regal Malamute Sanctuary, 13 months he has good bone and substance and a good skull but has maximum lip. His tail is too tight.

YD (3)
1 Murray Snowmischief Burning Love 20 months, top size dog who is balanced and has a correct topline and tail. I’d prefer his eyes a shade darker in an otherwise good head. Good reach and strong drive from the hocks.
2 Drake & Holt Freezefactor Tis The Season at Breconfrost, 18 months who is good for bone, proportions and body. Very good head and ears. Needs a little more upper arm.

PGD (4,2)
1 Cameron Sutarka Fire Storm almost 2 years. He has type and quality and scored here in chest and ribcage. Good mover with correct tail carriage. Strong skull and muzzle.
2 Pitcher Marahootay Linx Under Tatkresiwok a good topline and tail. He has strong bone but could be stronger in feet and pasterns which shows in his front action.

LD (6)
1 Loades Snowolf Black Ice Buddy, lovely dog in superb condition. The size and proportions I like in a male and he has a beautiful head, eye and ears. He has excellent chest and rib. Accurate with good reach and drive. I thought he would be my DCC winner but topline let him down in the challenge.
2 John Cristakell April Solstice, another quality dog of smaller type and size but not the rear angulation or strength of hock of the winner.

OD (11,1)
1 Forsey Dark Diamond Snowflake of Engel at Muzoku JW ShCM, 4 years old mature strong dog of excellent shape which he holds on the move. Combines strength and athletic movement. Very good tail. Accurate mover with good stride. Won DCC and pressed the bitch hard for BOB.
2 Brown O’ Kinastar Fire Me Up ShCM, I liked this dog a lot for proportions, topline and his movement with good strides and a very good tail. The older dog had the pull in chest today but he deserved the RDCC.

MPB (3) Disappointing class the one I preferred was not confident at her first show.
1 Jelfs Lapema Gia Visto, tall bitch who is a little long and needs to firm up. She moved well. Needs to develop in head and firm up in ears.
2 Armenti Lueldar Another Dimension, I preferred her for size and balance but her tight tail and uncoordinated movement let her down. In lovely coat. Both dog and handler need schooling.

JB (5)
1 Barnes & Sexton Muzoku Lil’ Devil, 15 months old, of good proportions although she is a little soft in condition. Just a little flat in her topline and firmer condition would help.
2 Ballington-Graham Noraisy Ring of Fire in Catua, 13 months her firm outline appealed to me but she is a touch long for balance. Strong bone, a quality feminine head and good eye shape. Her tail is too tight.

YB (2)
1 Brown Skidooshooz Bohemian Soul of Cupun (ai), almost 18 months a tall bitch and bigger than I like but everything in proportions. Strongly made, I would prefer a little less all through but she moved well and scored in tail carriage.
2 Ballington-Graham Noraisy Ring of Fire in Catua see JB. 

PGB (5)
1 Edwards & Molloy Wintablizard’s Gin Lover (ai) 2 years old I preferred a little more leg underneath her but I liked her type. She had a good head, ears and eyes and excellent tail and good movement.
2 Morgan Cedarcreek Frost Bite, I preferred the proportions of this bitch but she was a little heavy in body on the day. She has a lot of breed qualities but her good topline is marred by a tight tail.

LB (10,4) A good class with a wide variety of type and size.
1 Smith Snowshoes Yuki Yura, in perfect coat and looked a picture. She was carrying a little too much weight which detracted from her balance. Good bone and feet. Excellent head piece, holds her shape on the move.
2 Anderton-Tyers Northspirit Born to Shine at Flintsky, appealed for her size, balance and topline. Feminine bitch with enough bone and substance and a vey good tail. Good mover.

OB (7,2)
1 Hartley Ch Koromandel Firefight (ai) ShCM. High quality bitch of excellent type and strong yet feminine head. Very good rib and chest. Correct angulation giving her a good stride. Perfect tail carriage. I would prefer a smaller eye but I liked her a lot BCC & BOB.
2 Robb Jun Ch Icewolf Its Only Witchcraft (ai) pressed hard with very good body shape and quality head. Good tail, not quite the stride of the winner but combines femininity with strength. RBCC.

Frank Kane
