It was a great honour & privilege to be judging following the absence of shows over the past 18 months. I would like to thank the Committee for a thoroughly enjoyable day. Dogs were presented well despite their lack of ring practice with just one or two showing signs of uneasiness.

1. Mrs J & Mr J Whyman & Murray – Tailfly Heart Of Gold good shape & look to this boy in profile. Typical shape to head, neat correct ears, eyes are well shaped & dark. Nothing hidden today as out of coat good angulation & well ribbed. Adequate bone & muscle throughout. Moved with confidence around the ring with a well held topline. A very promising lad. Pleased to Award him Best Junior & he exhibited well & enjoyed himself in the group ring. BJ
2. Miss C C John – Chardicea Devon Scrumpy pleasing profile. Neat & smaller in head. Darkest of eyes & small well placed ears. Moderate in bone but a good body shape. Correct in angulation. Handler worked well to settle him then moved out nicely.

1. Miss A L Darlow – Iceclimb Ascent exhibits working strength in profile. Strong typical malamute head. Correct ears well set. Very good balance in forechest & rear. Good well-structured body with a little more length to loin. Well ribbed & muscled throughout. Strong in pasterns & hock good bend to stifle. Good feet with strong arch to toes. Moved well with strength & showing good reach & drive. A strong contender today.
2. Miss C & Mr & Mrs Bowden & Hughes – Makalu Mountain Legacy At Staggan athletic in profile. Head is balanced. My preference would be for smaller ears & better shaped eye. Strong & muscled in body good strength to his rear. Good length to stifle & hock. Tight correct topline that was held on the move. Won over no 3 on his movement today.

1. Mrs K L Jelfs – Lapema Malizioso handsome lad that stands out with a great shape in profile. Head not as large as most but correct balance throughout with more development to come nice breadth to skull. Body is balanced throughout and shows correct construction. Great angulation which was proved in his ease of very impressive, effortless, tireless movement. Good bend to stifle & strong in hock. Neat correct feet. Correct harsh coat & a lovely waving plume of a tail on the move. Flowed around the ring exhibiting super reach & drive. His first time in a Group Ring looking so comfortable. CC & BOB
2. Mr M Woodgate – Snowshoes Ring Presence nice profile & lovely expression. Strong broad head, correct eyes, I would just prefer somewhat slightly smaller ears. Chest had good spring & depth. Correct angulation fore & rear. Not as large a frame dog as 1. but all is balanced and in proportion. Strong pasterns & neat correct feet. Lovely waving plume of a tail. Moving well with a strong drive.

1. Mr M & Mrs A Blackburn – Ger VDH/NL/BE/INT CH Cristakell April Shadows JW SHCM BWBE18 nice dog in profile. Mature head good eye & placement, neat ears. Short, strong neck. Good bone. Well ribbed & strength to loin. I would like just a little more in front angulation. Good rear angulation with good bend to stifle, Moved out & back strongly would just like a little more reach & drive in his movement in profile.
2. Ms S & Mrs A Ellis & Nevinson – CH Chayo Golden Touch SHCM in profile a larger dog in overall size than 1. Masculine well-proportioned head. Would prefer a slightly darker shaped eye & better ear set. Good length of rib & deep chest. Body is strong, well-muscled & good bone throughout. Moving well holding his topline.

1. Mr I & Miss K Pullin & Mountstephens – CH Inupiats Qulit Henrik At Whitewalker (IMP NOR) good athletic working profile to this dog that takes your eye. Strong mature head & broad skull, slight stop. Overall strength in body & athletic musculature impressed. Good angulation fore & rear. Great strength in pasterns and hock. Moved around the ring effortlessly & consistently exhibiting good reach & drive. Delighted that he achieved Veteran Gp 3. RES CC , BV
2. Miss S & Mr M Burnside – Ch Libertia Americano another good dog in profile just of slightly smaller cast than 1. Head proportions correct with a good broad skull & deep muzzle. Good eye obliquely set, neat small well furred ears. Good breadth & depth to chest. Good moderate angulation. Strong in hock & thigh. Moved well once he settled, co-ordinated in his side gate showing good reach & drive pushing hard for top place.

2. Miss A & Mrs J Whyman – Tailfly Bloodline pretty, neat bitch pleasing in profile. Feminine head of correct proportions. Correct dark eye set well. Good length of neck leading to sloping topline & well set tail. Good angulation. Held her topline on the move but 1. just out moved her today.

1. Mr A & Mrs L Burgess – Cedarcreek Forever Young At Mountainglen overall good outline & general balance. Feminine pleasing expression. Good in head showing breadth to skull but narrowing in muzzle. Well placed ears, nice darkest of eye. Good forechest & strength to legs in pasterns & hock. Nice length & turn of stifle. In good condition & coat. Moving steady & strong with good reach and drive. She exhibited so well in the main ring & achieved Special Beginners Gp 2 BSB

1. Miss A & Mr R Bogle & Horsfield – Cahppes Tailwind Takala At Valknut NAF TAF delightful puppy lovely outline. Sweet expression. Darkest of eye but I would prefer a better shape, small thick well furred ears & in good coat. Good balance in forechest & rear but so much development yet to come as just 9 mths old. Good depth to ribs. Topline was held on the move. Once settled movement became more confident & she exhibited good reach and drive. BP

1. Miss C C John – Chardicea Devon Mist pretty, feminine bitch. Well balanced throughout giving a nice profile. Head is still very immature as expected but in correct proportions with a correct stop. Correct ears & eyes are a lovely medium/dark in colour. Good angulation & body structure is all there just needs time. Not as fluid on the move but once settled showed her stride.

1. Miss R J Brown – Cupuns Masterpiece striking b/w girl presenting a lovely profile. Head is good with a good dark almond shaped eye. Ear set is correct, thick & well furred. Good length of muzzle & correct stop. In her Summer coat so nothing to hide. Good overall structure & very strong bodied. Good forechest & strength in legs. Well ribbed up & good length to loin. Good angulation. Moved well on good feet & pasterns. Very promising

1. Mrs T, Mr A & Miss L Dolan – Siskara Dead Ringer For Love shows quality & strength in profile. Lovely balanced head & feminine expression correct in ears & good dark eye. Strong neck with a nice arch leading to a correct topline. Strong in forechest & good bone throughout. Coat is correct & harsh. Correct angulation moving really well particularly in profile. Well deserved Res CC
2. Mr I & Miss K Pullin & Mountstephens – Whitewalker Winterfell very feminine with a lovely balanced profile. Head in good proportions, nice slight stop, broader skull but narrows more in muzzle. Correct eye but slightly light in colour. Adequate breadth & depth to chest. Body is well muscled & strong, good spring to rib. Lighter in coat depth & cover. Moved well.

1. K E Copley-Holland – AM CH Katabatics Hollaback Girl profile exhibits strength and power in a larger size bitch. Striking in head, broad/deep strong muzzle, correct dark eye, ears in proportion. Profuse correct coat which hides several of her qualities. Good lay of shoulder, broad & deep forechest. Strong in loin & muscular quarters. Super bone & substance. Strength in hocks, pasterns & wrists. Moved out & back strongly. CC
2. Miss R J Brown Skidooshooz Bohemian Soul Of Cupun (AI) rangier girl & longer in cast than 1. in profile. Totally out of coat today hiding nothing. Head proportions are good. Correct slight stop. Medium dark eye, ears are correct shape & thick, but I would prefer them slightly smaller. Good depth & breadth to chest. Straight forelegs with strong pasterns. Moved well particularly on the around exhibiting reach & drive.
