Thanks to the exhibitors who stayed to take part in the second show of the day. I was impressed by the overall quality of many of the exhibits. Both veteran classes were exceptional with so many mature dogs and bitches in excellent condition still enjoying their time in the show ring.

1 Horsman-Phoenix & Horsman’s Nordicwinds Grtest Showman. Well boned 9 mth old. Pleasing head with good width to skull between ears. Slight stop and strong muzzle. Dark eyes set obliquely. Ear carriage showing well when interested. Good reach to arched neck. Moderate angulation to front quarters with shoulder and upper arm of similar length. Chest of good depth. Back straight with sufficient length to loin. Moderate bend to stifles Compact feet and good tail carriage. Moved well showing power from rear. BP.
2 Gavan & McLean’s Chayo Kabe Micco. 9 mth old of good size. Well proportioned head but would prefer slightly less pronounced stop. Dark eyes. Good mouth and dentition. Well set small ears. Strong neck and moderate slope to shoulders. Sufficient depth to chest and straight back. Hindquarters moderately angulated. Moved ok.

1 Blair’s Cedarcreek Heart Of London. 16 mths, of medium size. Well balanced with head of good proportions. Dark almond shaped eyes and good ear carriage. Neck strong, flowing into just sufficient lay of shoulders. Good bone to forelegs and strong pasterns. Chest deep and oval shaped. Broad hind quarters with well let down hocks. Well furred tail. Moved ok showing power from rear but like a little more reach in front.

1 Fennell & Wolfe’s Dreamwolves Just A Lil Crush. Medium sized 3 yr old. Well balanced with body. Head proportions ok but would prefer less stop which gave the impression of a shorter muzzle spoiling overall balance. Dark eyes and neat small ears. Sufficient angulation to front and rear quarters. Straight back slightly sloping. Moved well.

1 Bogle & Horsfield’s Whitewalker Kings Landing At Valknut. 3 yr old with good proportions to head in balance with body. Dark eyes of moderate size. Well set triangular ears. Slightly arched strong neck. Forequarters well boned. Chest deep but would prefer a little more width. Muscular hindquarters with moderate angulation. Moved with drive.
2 Keeling’s Kishdigra Smooth Operator. 2 yr old red with acceptable lighter eyes and brown nose. Powerfully built. Strong head with slight stop. Good ear carriage. Strong neck and good bone to forelegs. Moderate angulation to front and rear quarters. Moved well with power from rear.

1 Ellis’ Ch Chayo Cause Celebre. Three and a half yr old. Everything I look for in a male. Standing proud. Heavy boned with powerful shoulders and relatively compact body. Looking like he could do the job he was bred for. Head and skull broad with large muzzle of similar length and slight stop. Dark brown eyes set obliquely. Proportionately small ears set well. Clean mouth with good dentition. Shoulders set well with moderate angulation to upper arm of equal length. Heavily boned forelegs. Chest deep and oval. Topline strong and straight. Broad hindquarters with moderate bend of stifle. Compact feet. Good tail carriage. Tireless movement showing sufficient reach and powerful drive. DCC & BOB.
2 Nevinson’s Ch Chayo Golden Touch. Six and a half yrs. Another well balanced quality dog of good size and substance. Strong masculine head with broad skull and slight stop. Muzzle of good width and depth. Dark brown eyes of moderate size. Triangular well set ears in proportion with head. Strong slightly arched neck. Well boned forequarters with moderate slope to shoulders. Chest of good depth and back straight. Well muscled loins. Hindquarters broad and muscular. Well arched feet. Well furred tail set moderately high. Moved with power. RDCC.

1 Dolan & Dolan’s Ch Nl Ch Dk Ch Int Ch Siskara The Spy Who Loved Me JW ShCM. Eight and a half yr old, powerfully built. Well balanced between head and body. Skull broad between ears with length of skull almost equal to width. Slight stop. Large level muzzle and black nose. Obliquely set dark eyes. Small ears set wide. Strong neck. Moderately angulated forequarters with shoulders and upper arm of equal length. Forelegs well boned with short strong pasterns. Chest deep. Straight back sloping slightly to croup. Broad hindquarters and muscular. Well set tail. Harsh coat and dense undercoat. Moved with ease showing good reach and drive. Excellent class of veterans.
2 Mountstephens & Pullin’s Ch Inupiat’s Qulit Henrik At Whitewalker (Imp Nor). 8 yr old. Another well built dog with good proportions to head in balance with a powerful body. Skull broad with strong muzzle of similar length. Dark almond shaped eyes. Good ear carriage but would prefer slightly smaller. Good reach of neck. Shoulders moderately sloping with sufficient angulation to upper arm. Well boned straight forelegs. Chest deep and ribcage oval. Good topline, slightly sloping. Broad muscular hindquarters with moderate bend of stifle. Moved with power from rear.
3 Robb’s Ch & Int Ch Under Icewolf’s Star Interod JW ShCM VW (Imp Cze). 10 yr old. Powerfully built dog of balanced proportions. Masculine head with broad skull and large muzzle. Dark brown eyes with black rims. Small triangular ears. Muscular neck with moderate arch. Moderate slope to shoulders with upper arm of similar length. Chest of good depth and width. Back straight and loins strong. Muscular hindquarters with moderate angulation. Compact feet. Well set tail. Powerful driving movement.

Well set small ears. Good length and arch to neck. Strong bone to forelegs. Moderate angulation to front and rear quarters. Straight in back with slight slope. Well set tail. Moved well showing sufficient reach and drive. Narrowly lost out to half-brother for top puppy award.
2 Copley-Holland’s Katabatics Force Of Won. Another pleasing youngster only 7 mths. Good proportions to feminine head in balance with body. Dark clean eyes and good ear placement. Slight arch to neck and straight back. Sloping shoulders but a little short in upper arm which showed in her front movement. Hindquarters moderately angulated.

1 Bogle & Horsfield’s Cahppes Tailwind Takala At Valknut NAF TAF. Little to choose between these two, just preferred the front angulation of first and overall balance. 12 mth old with well proportioned head, dark eyes and good ear carriage. Slight arch to neck and straight back. Moderate angulation to front and rear quarters. Chest of good depth. Moved well showing good reach and powerful drive.
2 Keeling’s Kishdigra Criminal Aspirations. 15 mths. Balanced proportions to head with well set ears and dark eyes. Back straight, slightly longer spoiling overall balance to body. Good depth to chest. Sufficient angulation at front and rear. Pasterns need to tighten. Moved ok showing power from rear.

1 Brown’s Cupin’s Masterpiece. Pleasing feminine head on this 21 mth old. Skull sufficiently broad with muzzle of similar length. Well placed dark eyes and good ear carriage. Good mouth and dentition. Moderate angulation between sloping shoulders and upper arm. Strong bone to forelegs. Chest deep and back straight. Broad hindquarters Well furred tail but a little tight. Moved well.

1 Dolan & Dolan’s Siskara Sweet Child Of Mine. Powerfully built two and a half yr old. Balanced proportions between head and body. Skull broad with muzzle of good width and depth. Mizzle of similar length as skull. Almond shaped dark eyes. Small triangular well set ears in proportion to head. Good mouth and dentition. Slightly arched neck flowing into sloping shoulders with moderate angulation to upper arm of same length. Heavy bone straight forelegs. Chest strong and deep with length of body coming from an oval ribcage. Loins muscular and back straight. Broad hindquarters with moderate bend of stifle and low set hocks. Compact well arched feet. Good carriage to well furred tail. Moved well showing good reach and drive whilst maintaining topline. BCC.

1 Smith & Smith’s Snowshoes The White Witch. 4 yr old. Well balanced and of good size. Feminine head of good proportions with broad skull and large muzzle of similar length. Dark brown eyes with well pigmented rims. Relatively small ears set wide. Neck moderately arched. Sloping shoulders with moderate angulation to forelegs. Strong bone to straight forelegs. Chest deep to elbow with ribs carried well back. Straight back sloping slightly to croup. Broad thighs and moderate angulation to stifles with hocks well let down. Good tail carriage. Moved with good reach and drive. RBCC.
2 Ellis’ Chayo Vasilisa. Two and a half yrs old. Slightly plainer in head than first but of good proportions and in balance with well boned body. Skull broad with muzzle wide and deep. Dark eyes and good ear carriage. Sufficient length to neck. Chest deep. Straight in back. Moderate angulation to forequarters but would like slightly more angulation at rear but still moved well.

1 Druce’s Koromandel On Strange Tides. 10 yr old, winner of this lovely veteran class. Excellent bone to powerful body. Strong but feminine head of balanced proportions. Dark well set eyes and good ear carriage. Muscular arched neck. Moderate angulation to forequarters with chest deep and sufficiently broad. Straight slightly sloping back with muscular loins. Hindquarters broad with moderate bend of stifle. Large compact feet with strong pasterns. Moved well with easy movement and good drive. B Vet.
2 Smith & Smith’s Ch Snowshoes Aurora Borealis JW ShCM. Another quality 8 yr old. Well balanced with good bone and substance. Good proportions to head with sufficient width to skull and strong muzzle. Dark eyes and well set ears. Moderate angulation to front and rear quarters. Chest deep and back straight. Moved well showing reach and drive.
