Judge's Critiques

The very nice entry of 76 was badly marred by some extremely aggresive dogs and bitches. Many innocent exhibits were very upset by the bad behaviour and fighting between dogs being shown. These incidents also affected the adjacent ring, especially when the Bouviers were being judged. As a judge the aggresive behaviour of exhibits is highly dangerous and should not be tolerated. All aggression should be dealt with under Kennel Club Regulations and dismissal from the ring is mandatory together with the necessary paperwork. I strongly suggest that dogs like this should never be shown again.

1. Fairley’s, Polarpaws Topaz Dancer. 15 months old. Completely out of coat. Rather immature for age and needing to develop more body. Reasonable head shape. Strong neck, fair front. Shows weakness in muscle tone, especially in thighs. Far from true on move but still the best in this class.
2. Boyd’s, Icescape Best Kept Secret. Well grown for 17 months and quite a powerful dog. Very typical head, eyes and ears. Very strong neck. Needs to strengthen in front but well boned. Good body, wide thighs. Quite hopeless on the move.
3. Watson’s, Wateengars Sacred Warrior.
