Judge's Critiques
SBD/B (2):
1. Partridge-Bebb & Partridge-Bebb, Show Me The Monet Avec Keighanya—very excitable when entering the ring, just needed a bit of time to settle. Very nice head and ear placement, nice and small in good proportion to head. Keen expression, well developed for age, nice tight lips, good length of tail and carried correctly on the move. Lots of substance for age, lovely character, a pleasure to judge. Best special beginner and made the cut in that group.
2. Dunning, Chayo Perfect Conditions—very strong head, lots of volume to coat, good for bone, okay for size and bone.
JD (2):
1. Keeling, Kishdigra Criminal Inferno—very impressive young male from the moment he entered the ring, showing himself at all times with lots of ring presence and rightly so. Fifteen months of age, developing very well for age. He was presented in beautiful show condition, coat and colour were of high standard, very appealing to the eye. Lovely head of good width, nice reach and drive, was shown on a nice loose lead, nice side gait movement. Pleased to award RCC.
2. Partridge-Bebb & Partridge-Bebb, Show Me The Monet Avec Keighanya—was in special beginner.
LD (3,1):
1. Morris, Chayo Top Gun JW—very good for size, bone and substance. Excellent depth of forechest and good width of chest, correct topline and held correctly on the move. Lots of super muscle tone, nice straight legs, very alert and attentive to handler, moved well, used all the ring to full advantage. Good length and thickness of tail, carried correctly on the move. Excellent presentation and well handled.
2. Dunning, Chayo Perfect Conditions—special beginners class.
OD (5,1):
1. Ellis-Payne, Chayo Here Comes Trouble—18 months, very impressive male, very appealing to the eye. Shown in tip-top show condition, credit to the handler. Beautiful free-standing profile, true to type. Very nice head plains and good length of ears, well used and well set to advantage to enhance his head. Nice strong neck, lots of bone and substance for age, well balanced. Loved the way he moved and owned the ring with reach and drive. Impressive dog and still young, so should only get better and better. Pleased to give Dog CC.
2. Smith & Smith, Ch Cash The Check Shamanrock At Snowshoes (Cze Imp)—very close decision between first and second today, what a pleasure to judge. Excellent presentation and handling, nice broad head and powerful. Good length of muzzle to the proportion of head, correct eye moderately set. Nice wave plume on the tail, carried correctly on the move and free-standing. Coat was of good and correct texture and density, with a strong neck and excellent muscle tone.
PB (2):
1. Ellis-Payne, Chayo Feel The Heat—very mature for age, 8 months old. Coat in excellent show condition, happy outgoing nature, nice pigmentation, nice black nose, nice tight-fitting lips. Developing well for age, very eye-catching from the moment she entered the ring. Lovely character, happy to be judged, a star in the making. Nice to award RCC.
2. Smith & Smith, Snowshoes Sweet Symphony—8 months, needs more time, coat coming through. Very immature, needs more time to fill out and develop and finish.
LB (1):
1. Smith & Smith, Snowshoes Fancy Ferrari JW—would prefer better pigmentation and use of ears. Good for size and bone, nice slight arch to a strong neck, good depth of chest and good topline. Nice erect ears of good size, strong muzzle, well-muscled of good proportions, very alert.
OB (3): 1. Keeling, Irch Kishdigra The Criminals Kiss—well, what can I say about this young lady? Six years old, in her prime. Coat in amazing condition, a credit to the handler and owner. Lots to like about her, shown on a nice loose lead, nice free-flowing movement covering the ring with reach and drive. Lots of bone, substance and muscle tone, excellent coat in good bloom and presentation with excellent texture and shine. Correct in topline standing and on the move, correct use of the tail, strong but still correct feminine head. Pleased to award CC and BOB, and pleased to see shortlisted in a strong group.
2. Nevinson, Ch Chayo Causin Chaos—strong winner today, very mature female with elegance, 6 years old. Would prefer a tighter lip, nice small erect ears and well used. Lots of muscle tone, good length of loin, nice thick fur around her neck, nicely handled.
