I would like to express my thanks to Paignton show Committee for my invitation to judge and their kind hospitality, and also my stewards for doing a great job. I was pleased to see most dogs presented in fit condition with very few overweight, and I can’t blame the girls who left their coats at home. I would like to thank all exhibitors for traveling the distance and an excellent entry.

1st: ELLIS Ms S Chayo Cause Celebre (BP). Promising youngster, soundly constructed with topline coming along nicely, shown in good coat, well balanced for his age with good bone, correct front, angulation and tail set, he made the most of the lovely big ring 2nd: EDWARDS, Mrs E & MOLLOY Mr S Wintablizard Cowabunga. Just over 6 months old, developing well with good outline, another promising puppy. Lovely head with small correctly set ears, scissor bite and dark oblique eye. Difficult to choose between the two, just a little less settled on the move than 1 .

JD (2 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: EDWARDS, Mrs E & MOLLOY Mr S Wintablizard Cowabunga. Much more settled in this class, well balanced on the move, he really enjoyed his run around.
2nd: WOODHEAD Mrs & Miss G & R Noraisy Take My Breath Away. In good coat ,slightly longer in length than 1, with correct top line starting to show. Masculine head with good width of skull and muzzle, nice outline and good angulation,Moved well coming and going.

PGD (3 Entries) Abs: 1
1st: WHYMAN, Mrs J & MURRAY Mr J Tailfly Nightcrawler. Attractive black & white boy, lovely outline on the move. Correct feet strong pasterns, Ample bone, attractive head and expression, good front, nice outline with moderately sloping shoulders and correct angulation. Scissor bite.
2nd: 3138 DRAKE, Ms A & HOLT Ms L Freezefactor Tis The Season At Breconfrost. Masculine head with dark eye giving a soft expression, good width of skull and depth to muzzle. Well off for bone, with sound pasterns & hocks. Carrying a little more weight than I would like on the day, unsettled on the move.

1st: PAGE, Mrs M & JARVIS Ms D Cedarcreek Frozen Asset Jw JW (RBD). Quality dog with pleasing head and correct eye shape, obliquely set, nice length to neck. Well ribbed with strong loin and excellent quarters, tail well set. Well off for bone, strong pasterns and correct feet. Moved soundly round the ring. Shown in fit condition, well handled and presented.
2nd: SMITH Mrs J E Snowshoes King’s Legacy Sh.CM. Correct topline with harsh coat, good angulation with well let down hocks, sound legs and feet. Overall body proportions very good with good spring of rib and firm loin. Tail set & carriage okay. Well balanced throughout

1st: THOMPSON Miss S P Libertia In The Red Again At Shomont ( BD & BOB)
A Strong class but this stunning red boy caught my attention the moment he entered the ring. Liked him for type and, with a nicely proportioned outline and well balanced front & strong rear assembly that showed when he first moved round the ring with such effortless ease, good reach in the front and drive in the rear. Carrying a correct coat he is well ribbed with a strong, firm loin. Well off for bone, with sound pasterns & hocks. A worthy ambassador for the breed I was pleased to award him BOB
2nd: PAGE, Mr & Mrs P & M & SHEEHAN Mr & Mrs J Cedarcreek Frozen River. Another quality dog, broad head, and dark obliquely set eyes. Strong neck, well developed chest, straight front, moderate angulation with well let down hocks, heavily boned with sound legs and feet, strong pasterns. Sound mover coming and going. Lovely plumed tail. A hard decision between 2 & 3 both quality dogs.

1st: 3134 BARNES, Miss R L & SEXTON Mr J A D Muzoku Lil’devil. Pretty feminine young girl, alert expression, small well furred ears, topline just starting to show, correct harsh coat, good bone and angulation, showed off her lovely tail set moving soundly round the ring.
2nd: WHYMAN, Mrs J & MURRAY Mr J Tailfly Flamenco. This young girl had the good sense to leave her coat at home on a day like today, Lovely head with correct eye and ear placement, scissor bite and dark pigment. Good length of neck with well laid shoulders and sloping topline, nicely balanced bitch with good rear angulation. Just a little unsettled on the move.

PGB (3 Entries) Abs: 0
1st: CLARKE Mrs C Electra Illa Kuvianartok At Whiteout (Imp). Well balanced to produce a lovely outline, feminine head, nice eye shape, placement and color, depth to chest, sound limbs, well ribbed and in hard condition, good length of leg well off for bone, strong in pastern and well let down hocks moved with consummate ease. Developing well. Out of coat but nicely presented. One to watch for the future.
2nd: WHYMAN, Mrs J & MURRAY Mr J Tailfly Flamenco. As above

LB (4 Entries) Abs: 2
1st: SMITH Mrs J E Snowshoes Touch Of Class. A well balanced girl with ample bone. Feminine head of good proportions, A nice arch to her neck, well laid shoulde & straight front. Sound legs and feet, and correct moderate angulation, well sprung rib with good depth of chest. Moved with a balanced effortless gait ,covering the ground with ease.
2nd: WOODHEAD Mrs & Miss G & R Koromandel Rushin Around At Noraisy. Attractive head with correct proportions, almond eye ,bulky muzzle, scissor bite Well put together with good overall body shape & moderate angulation, A nicely balanced bitch, who moved very soundly.

OB (9 Entries) Abs: 4
1st: ELLIS Ms S Chayo Inspiration JW (BB). Well developed and of good breed type, Impressive outline when standing. Heavily boned forelegs leading to short strong pasterns & large tight compact feet, Moderate rear angulation , Short, strong & slightly sloping pasterns. Good reach in front and strong rear drive, effortless mover, with steady balanced gait. Strong but feminine head with correct eye shape, placement and colour. Well Deserving of Best Bitch
2nd: BLANEY Miss A J Windberg Paparazzi To Fenrirkin (RBB). In excellent condition, very sound for he age, Lovely feminine head, expression, and dark oblique eyes. Well-constructed with good angulation front & rear that produced the reach and drive that is required . Well off for bone and correct feet. Good depth to chest and well sprung ribs. Sound mover coming and going.
