Thank you to all exhibitors for a great entry and to the L.K.A Committee for their invitation to judge at such a prestigious show, also for their hospitality on the day. Overall I found plenty of type amongst the dogs present all temperaments were exemplary and all a credit to the breed. I was extremely pleased with both my final line ups making my decision for top honours a challenge in itself!

Minor puppy dog (3, 0a)
1) York’s Chardicea Mr McFly. Very much a baby but scored on bone and substance. Strong head with good length of muzzle, good bite and dark eye. Ears well furred and set on head. Plush thick coat, straight front with neat feet, neck well arched, top line held well on the move.
2) Mountstephens and Pullin’s Whitewalker Kings Landing. Slightly longer in body but makes a nice overall shape. Appealing head, Dark eye, correct bite, ample bone, good layback of shoulder and sloping topline. Lovely tailset and carriage. Short pasterns with tight feet. Moved well when settled.

1) Mountstephens and Pullin’s Whitewalker Kings Landing. As Minor puppy dog

Junior Dog (1, 0a)
1) Ellis’s Chayo Cause Celebre. Very impressive 14 month old male, plenty to like about him. Well off for bone, coat thick and harsh , tail set correct. Masculine headpiece with strong muzzle, dark eye and good bite. Good arch of neck, well sprung ribs and strong top line held well on the move, straight front with large feet. Good rear assembly. Very easy on the move, with super reach and drive. Just not enough awards to give out on the day but undoubtedly a future star in the making.

Post Graduate Dog (4,1a)
1) Raby’s Yuayua at Icemoon (imp). Judged this dog as a puppy and how nice to see how he has developed. Good headpiece with strong features, broad skull, thick muzzle, stop not overdone, ears well set. Deep chest with straight front, short pasterns , nice lay back of shoulder. Topline gently sloping finished off with beautiful waving plume. Well off for muscle. Gave his handler a challenge but when he thinks about it, he has a lovely easy gait on the go.
2) Holt’s Freezefactor Tis the Season at Breconfrost. Lots to like about this dog a bit of a rough diamond, masculine head piece, lovely small well furred ears, short strong muzzle and wedge shape head. Nicely balanced front and rear , well arched neck leading to moderately sloping topline, tail could ve been slightly looser, plenty of bone. Not quite on point with his movement which cost him a higher placing.

Limit Dog (6,2a)
1) Ellis’s Chayo Suspicious Minds. Super young male in great condition, made a lovely profile standing, well balanced with lovely proportions. Handsome broad head, good width of skull with well furred ears, lovely wedge shape with strong short muzzle and correct bite, dark almond shaped eyes. Good shoulder placement giving him a straight front with strong short pasterns and neat tight feet. Topline gently sloping with sufficient length in loin. Correct tail set, Rear assembly had moderate angulation with let down hocks and well off for muscle tone. True movement on the down and back with great driving action. Pushed hard for top honours. RDCC
2) Cameron’s Surtarka Fire Storm. Appealing male, lovely dark eye, depth in muzzle, good bite. good length of neck leading to sloping topline, straight front, well sprung ribs with adequate length in body. Good tailset and carriage, tidy rear assembly, In good jacket. Not quite the spark of my class winner .

Open Dog (6,2a) Without doubt the strongest and most difficult class to judge on the day these males all had qualities to be awarded 1st place, I’m sure places will swap at future shows.
1) Smith’s Snowshoes King’s Legacy ShCM. Most appealing male in super condition and so well presented. Excellent shape and proportions with sufficient bone. Coat thick and harsh, pleasing head masculine yet with a soft expression, correct scissor bite, dark almond shape eye. Front was straight and strong with nice depth of chest, topline moderately sloping with correct tail set and carriage. Well angulated rear quarters used to advantage on the go round, good reach and drive moving with ease and purpose. This male was my surprise find of the day and very pleased to award him the DCC.
2) Ellis and Nevinson’s Chayo Golden Touch ShCM. Strong and powerful male, slightly taller than no 1 but still nicely proportioned, attractive headpiece with broad skull, strong muzzle, neat
small well set furred ears. Good length of leg, tight feet and straight front, rear quarters well muscled and used to his advantage on the move. In good jacket, harsh, thick texture and well presented.

Veteran Dog (2,1a)
1. Raby’s Snowolf Black Ice Striker at Icemoon. 8 year old male in well toned and in super hard condition, Sufficient coat, thick and harsh, dark eye, good bite, Strong head with adequate stop and muzzle. Larger size male with balanced proportions, front straight and not over angulated on the rear assembly. Still moves as if he is a youngster.

1.Smith’s Snowshoes Silver Lining. Pretty feminine youngster in lovely coat and condition. Well balanced with equal proportions front and rear. Attractive head with good bite, dark eyes, well set ears, In good coat, dense and harsh. Nice tail set and carriage on the move, well arched neck, topline developing. Very composed on the move. BP
2. Blackburn’s Chardicea Party Girl. Very much a baby but lots to like about her. Attractive feminine head, dark eye, correct bite, well furred ears, muzzle not overdone. good body proportions and well off for bone. Good reach of neck and length in loin, tail set good with well furred plume. Lovely side gait on the go round.

Junior Bitch (5,2a)
1.Smith’s Snowshoes the White Witch. Another super young girl from this kennel, Pretty head, soft expression, good scissor bite, dark eye, well arched neck with correct topline. Makes a lovely outline with well balanced proportions. Neat feet, short pasterns and true front, good lay back of shoulder, adequate length of hock with good rear angulation. Correct tailset. In excellent jacket.
2. Perfitt’s Samjoe’s the One and Only. Larger in size and not quite the substance of my winner, nevertheless, attractive young bitch with nice proportions. Good topline, ribs well sprung, nice length in body. Front straight and rear well angulated. Appealing head, lovely dark eye, well set ears and depth in skull. Covered the ground well when she settled down.

Post Graduate Bitch (6,2a)
1. Perfitt’s Samjoe The Dream Lives On. What you see is what you get with this girl, scored on bone and balanced proportions making a lovely outline on standing. Well assembled front and rear, sloping topline, good reach and arch of neck, good bite and nice dark eye. In good coat, moved with purpose on the go round.
2. Smith’s Snowshoes the White Witch as JB

Limit Bitch (10, 2a) Biggest and most varied class of the day
1. Innes Icycool Oriana. Super bitch in great condition, fabulous outline with excellent proportions. Coat thick and harsh. Good bone, excellent topline, good strength in rib and depth of chest, great tail set and carriage. Lovely headpiece that ticks the boxes of the breed standard. Pleased to award her RBCC, top honours wont be far off for her.
2. Sinclair’s Chayo Silver Shimmer. Silver and white bitch, well presented, she scored on her shape and balance despite carrying a little excess weight . Feminine head and expression, Stop is slight, dark eye and well set ears on broad skull. Coat correct, thick and harsh. Good tail carriage. Good front and rear assembly, moved with ease.

Open Bitch (6,2a)
1. Ellis’s Chayo One Moment in Time JW. Absolutely stunning young girl of outstanding type. Powerfully built without losing any of her femininity. Attractive headpiece with strong muzzle, correct bite, well placed furred and neatly shaped ears, strong well arched neck, with good lay of shoulder, straight front with short pasterns and compact feet. Good depth of chest, spring of rib and length in loin. correct topline with correct tail set and well plumed tail carried well on the moved. Coat thick and harsh standing off the body, well muscled and condition. Moving true on the down and back and had the most excellent side gait, a powerhouse with drive from the rear and reach form the front, making it effortless for her on the go round. Very pleased to award her the BCC and BOB.
2.Page’s Cedarcreek Frozen in Time. Well proportioned and balanced with ample bone. Attractive head with soft expression. Neat front, well arched neck and sloping topline. good tail set and plumage. strong hindquarters used to advantage on the move. In good hard coat.

Veteran Bitch (5,3a)
1. Pages Cedarcreek Exquisite. 7 year old substantial girl, feminine head, dark oblique eye, strong muzzle, slight stop, Nice outline, well off for bone with well proportioned front and rear assembly. In good hard condition and her age does not reflect her fitness as she moved with drive and purpose putting a few youngsters to shame.
2. Butlers’s Arcticdawns Free and Easy. What a pleasure to go over this 11 year old, a credit to her owner as she is in great condition and such a happy disposition, well off for muscle, thick harsh coat. Appealing pretty headpiece with slight stop and well set dark eye. Makes a nice outline picture standing, with good proportions. Easy on the eye on the go round,
