Firstly I would like to thank Driffield Dog Show Society for asking me to Judge at this lovely show. Then I would also like to thank each one of you for bringing your dogs under me today. I was happy with the overall quality, where some dogs could have changed places on other days. Fronts seem to be improving in the breed, but still a couple carrying a little bit of weight. After all they are a working breed.

Veteran Dog 3/0
1. Mountstevens Miss K, Mr I Pullins, Ch Inupiat Quilit Herik at Whitewalker. 10 year old male, still in good working condition, good angulation on both front and rear, pleasing headpiece with correct scissor bite. Correct waving plume tail. Moved with purpose and ease. BV
2.Nevinson Mrs A, Ch Chayo Golden Touch. Larger male, in good condition. Good snow shoe feet, Good overall head proportions, moderately angulated, not as fluent in movement as 1.

Puppy Dog 4/1
1.Loades Mrs S , Snowolf Blackpowder Charge. B/w Boy who took my eye as he entered the ring, well off for bone with moderately arched neck and good shoulder angulation. Correct front and rear. Pleasing head and expression with dark eye. Held his top line on the move. One to watch for the future. BP
2.Perfitt Miss L & Mrs S, Samjoe Shadowhunter. Nice head and shape, correct ear and eye placement with correct bite, of medium build and bone, in good coat, not quite as mature as 1.

Junior Dog 5/3
1.Perfitt Miss L & Mrs S, Samjoe Shadowhunter.
2.Hooley Mrs S, Black Stripe. Coat a little soft, pleasing head piece with dark eye, good front and rear angulation with short hocks. Moved ok.

Post Graduate Dog 6/0
1.Innes Mrs S & Mr B, Icycool Hudson’s Bay.( AI) Of good type and soundness, well off for bone, with good feet. Held his top line on the move, nice side gait and overall movement. Correct tail and set.
2. Horsman-Phoenix Mrs J & Mr J, Snow Legend Zenith of Fame Nordicwinds.(Imp Rus). Moderately arched neck, to correct top line. Good harsh coat, enough bone , good overall proportions, short hocks to tight feet. Moved with ease.

Limit Dog 8/0
1.Loades Mrs S, Whitewalker Winter’s Gold. G/w male of good type and soundness, correct sloping top line. Pleasing head and expression, good front and rear angulation, good spring of rib, moved with drive.
2. Whyman Mrs J, Tailfly Heart of Gold. Pleasing headpiece with dark eye and correct scissor bite, In good jacket with correct texture, overall good angles front and rear, good spring of rib , moved around the ring with purpose.

Open Dog 7/0

1.Jelfs Mrs K, Ch Lapema Malizioso. Mature G/w male who covered the ground with an easy movement. Correct front and rear. In super harsh jacket, well off for bone, good snow shoe feet, pleasing head with correct proportions and dark eye. Powered around the ring with drive. CC
2. Page Mrs M & Mr P, Ch Snow Legend Believe in You Cedarcreek (Imp Rus). Another male with super headpiece with correct proportions, well off for bone and substance. Moderatly arched neck, with lovely front and depth of chest. Moved with an easy easy action, just not as fluent as 1 on the day. RCC

Veteran Bitch 5/4
1. Jarvis Mrs D & Troisi S, Nordicwinds All Attitude. In super condition with correct harsh coat and waving plume tail. Pleasing feminine expression with correct bite. Good tight feet, good overall proportions , moved with ease. 2.Burgess Mrs L & Mr A, Cedarcreek Forever Young to Mountainglen. Nice overall proportions, of medium bone. Easy action sidegait, moderate angulation, moved with ease.

Puppy Bitch 4/0
1.Brown Miss R, Rumba Vasilyev Ostrov for Cupun ( Imp Ukr) Naf. Feminine Bitch and still very much a baby, correct head proportions , good bite. Good front, correct harsh coat, just needs to fill out everywhere, that should come with age.
2. Jelfs Mrs K, Chayo High Jinx with Lapema. Close call between 1&2, well off for bone, good jacket, sweet expression with pleasing head correct ear & eye placement. One to watch.

Junior Bitch 1/0
Perfitt Miss L & Mrs S, Samjoe Seelie Queen.
Pretty bitch of correct proportions, in good jacket with correct texture. Short hocks. Movement ok.

Special Beginner Bitch 2/1
Wilson Mrs A, .Kurjak As Nana At Arctictundra ( Imp Serb) Nice dark eye and feminine expression. Longer in loin bitch, in good coat , moved with ease. BSB

Post Graduate Bitch 5/4
1.Aitchison Miss L & Hirst Mr S, Kaskae Fire Opal. This girl demanded attention as she came into the ring. Lovely B/w girl with lots to like, good front and rear angulation, sweet expression. Super bone and substance, correct tail set and waving plume. Moved around the ring with power & purpose. BCC & BOB.
2. Perfitt Miss L & Mrs S, Samjoe from Russia with love JW. Feminine head piece with correct proportions, good bite. medium bone, easy action sidegait, and held her top line on the move. Not as fluent in movement as 1.

Limit Bitch 5/3
1.Innes Mrs S & Mr B, Icycool Ottawa(AI). Another lovely bitch of correct proportions, correct tail set and carriage. Good deep large feet, feminine headpiece of good type and soundness . Moved with ease.
2. Horseman-Phoenix Mrs J & Mr J, Nordicwinds Miss Marvel. Pleasing feminine head and kind expression. Of medium bone, good overall proportions with an easy action. Moved ok.

Open Bitch 5/4
1.Horsman-Phoenix Mrs J & Mr J, Snow Legend Be My Lucky Nordicwinds ( Imp Rus) JW. Nice bitch of correct proportions front & rear, lovely side profile and movement was effortless. Very pretty typey head, with correct proportions, one I have admired for a while. Another who powered around the ring. RCC.
2. Whyman Mrs J & Murray Mr J, Tailfly Flamenco. Another super bitch, pretty feminine head with correct bite, a little longer in loin than 1, but she did not disappoint on the move, she covered the ground with ease and drive. well off for bone and in good harsh coat.
