I would like to thank the committee for giving me the opportunity to judge one of my favourite breeds at this level. To the exhibitors for a pleasing entry for a midweek show. Not forgetting my two stewards who kept the ring flowing. The presentation was excellent.

MPD (1) 1 Woodgate’s Snowshoes Mountain Ranger. This young man is full of quality and much to admire, he scores in head, almond shaped eye and dark brown in colour, correct bite, good angles, at the moment. He appears rather compact but has enough on the leg to come up on to as he grows, moved out steadily enjoying his day, should have a bright future.

1 Cameron’s Sutarka Fire Storm. Well up for size, he has pleasing angles, good head shape with rounded skull, flat cheeks, neat ears set wide apart, neck of good length well arched, just a touch long in back, would have liked more forechest as it makes the front a bit loose in movement, shows nice side gait.

1 Ellis’ Ice Gangsta’s Ball Of Fire For Chayo (Imp). Quite masculine for age, heavily boned, nice deep chest and muscled quarters, strong head and jaw, ears set well apart, needs to come up on the leg as he looks more compact than I like, a little wide in front, but he has powerful hindquarters which he uses when covering the ground.

2 Winterburn’s Cinneli Polar Force. Well up on the leg, shows good outline, liked his head shape, body is developing, but not yet as strong as first, has nice sloping topline, tends to pin in front.

1 Brook’s Snobruk Secret Mission (ai) JW. Pleasing size, mature in head with almond shape eye, brown in colour, strong jaw, superb body conformation, strong in loin and neck, nice deep chest, good shoulder placement, feet large and compact quarters, well muscled, carries correct topline, showing excellent side gait.
2 Jelfs’ Lapema Garota Rude JW. Strong and muscular in appearance, deep chest and strong in loin, masculine head but not as strong in jaw as first, when moving keeps a good sloping topline, when standing tends to toe in, that needs to be watched when placing.
3 Woodall’s Monikoona Ice Chief Brody.

1 Smith & Smith’s Mlt Ivram Bradliey Your The One At Snowshoes (Imp). Full of breed type, looks good in profile, heavily boned, shoulders moderately sloping and nice deep chest, hindquarters well muscled, thick coarse coat, he also scores in head, nice broad skull, strong muzzle, correct eye shape and brown in colour, good bite, very sound on the move showing good drive and extension with powerful drive from behind, also keeping a correct sloping topline with waving plume. 2 Page & Jarvis’ Cedarcreek Frozen Asset JW. Superb body conformation, heavily boned, with strong deep chest, up on the leg which I like to see, mature in head, cheeks flat, pleasing eye shape and colour, neck strong and well arched, also scored in front and rear action, inbetween coats here, however, lots to like, still a youngster so time is on his side.
3 Loades’ Snowolf Black Ice Buddy.

1 Ellis’ Ch Chayo Formula One. Striking this mature male headed a very strong class, correct size, of good breed type, heavily boned, pleasing head with rounded skull and small ears set well apart, correct eye shape and colour, good bite, excellent body conformation with sloping shoulders, stifles moderately bent, hindquarters well muscled, strong in loin, large compact feet, scored high in front and rear movement, carries correct topline with waving plume, just tends to kick back the once when moving off. I was really splitting hairs here in the challenge, liked him a lot RCC.
2 Copley-Holland’s Ch Am Ch Adair ‘n’ Hug Casual Class (Imp USA). Can see why this mature male has his title, full of breed type, correct height, strong and powerfully built with deep chest and strong loin, pleasing head but would prefer better eye shape, at 8 years old he has sound covering ground action, presented in tip top condition.
3 Ellis & Nevinson’s Chayo Golden Touch ShCM.

1 Ellis’ Chayo One Moment In Time. She caught my eye as she entered the ring and I was not disappointed when going over her, she has superb body conformation, lovely head shape with correct eye and colour showing a pleasing feminine expression, good bite, I also loved her outgoing temperament, she was so well schooled, movement is what she has, also showing strong action from the rear, must have a bright future. BP & RCC.
2 Dobson & Wolfe’s Sutarka La Dolle Vita. Lots to admire here, full of breed type, impressed me with her overall angulations, she also scored high in head, her movement was exceptional for one so young, just powers round the ring, just a little loose in the front, this should tighten up as she matures.
3 Perfitt’s Samjoe The Dream Lives On (ai).

JB (3, 1) 1 Dobson & Wolfe’s Sutarka La Dolle Vita. 2 Copley-Holland’s Katabatics Hollaback Girl. This young lady at present is very raw, it didn’t help as she had also left her coat at home, she has good body shape and her head is developing well, on the move has good front and rear extension.

1 Mountstephens & Pullin’s You Are The One Of Kiyara’s Wolf Pak (Imp). Appeals for breed type. I liked her overall body shape aand is developing in all quarters, up on the leg, she has pleasing head shape, almond shape eye, brown in colour, correct bite, arched neck & strong loin, carries sloping topline and waving plume, promising youngster.
2 Jelfs’ Lapema Tavola Ouija JW ShCM. Another to like and I was splitting hairs here, very similar to first in all departments but I preferred the darker eye of first, she has clean outline and when she moves excels in side gait.
3 Windley & Taylor’s Royaltaylor Crown Jewel JW.

1 Brook’s Snobruk Secret Liaison (ai). Although this lady was inbetween coats, I could not deny her this win, she has an expressive head, skull correct width, flat cheeks and strong muzzle, also correct eye shape and colour, her neck is strong and moderately arched, well muscled loin, good tail set and waving plume, she also scores on front and rear action, although at times she appears rather erratic, when settled shows good profile.
2 Winterburn’s Cinneli Polar Sway. Lots to admire here, on the move she excels carrying correct topline, overall conformation good with nice deep chest, quarters well muscled, she has a pleasing head but would have preferred better eye shape, presented in excellent condition.
3 Barstow’s Cinneli Polar Maple At Ayakulik.

1 Wolfe’s Just Got To Love Me Polarni Usvit. Scored on breed type, impressed me with her overall conformation, mature in body with sloping shoulders, muscled quarters, but would have liked more up on the leg, expressive head, pleasing eye shape and colour, strong in muzzle, strong arched neck and loin, feet well arched, she was presented in tip top condition, on the move she excels showing clean outline.
2 Smith’s Snowshoes Touch Of Class. Very similar to first in type, overall conformation good, well off for bone, nice deep chest, she also has pleasing head shape but would have preferred better eye shape, she has outgoing temperament, moved out freely, carries good topline.
3 Butler’s Kaytoo Antarctic Anko.

1 Ellis’ Ch Chayo Blue Diamond (ai). Full of breed type, although still a youngster she has more to come, she has lovely head proportions with correct eye shape aand colour, good bite, ears small and triangular, broad skull with strong muzzle, she has excellent sloping shoulders with nice deep chest but would have liked more drop in ribcage, she is also a touch long in the back but as she is up on the leg she is balanced, inbetween coats, on the move is where she excels, straight coming and going, has tireless ground covering action and powers well from behind. 2 Loades’ Ch Snowolf Manhatten Marvel. I was very surprised that this bitch was 8 years old, heavier all round, she has excellent conformation with sloping shoulders and well muscled quarters, deep chest, strong in neck and loin perhaps a little heavy in the head for me but on the move is where she excels, she has exceptional ground covering action, carrying correct topline and waving plume, presented in excellent condition, can see why she has her title.
3 Horseman-Phoenix’s Nordicwinds American Dream JW ShCM.
