My first time judging Alaskan Malamutes in Britain. These days Alaskan Malamute is a very popular show dog all over the FCI world. I expected and hoped to find excellent quality, as many of my previous winners in various countries were UK imports. Not the best time of the year coat wise for these Arctic breeds but I was very pleased with the entry. Full of type and soundness, and great temperaments as well. Congratulations!

2 Page’s Cedarcreek Exquisite, bigger bitch with excellent proportions, would prefer a more defined stop, good bone, excellent body, balanced mover, excellent tail and topline. 

PB (6,3) 1 Ellis’ Chayo Glitterbug, excellent proportions, excellent head shape and expression, ears need to get firmer, excellent bone, excellent ribcage, correct rear, excellent mover for her age, lovely topline, excellent coat texture. Good luck for the future! Reserve CC. Best Puppy.

JB (3) 1 Smith & Smith’s Snowshoes The White Witch, feminine, excels in movement, not too heavy, good topline and tail, correct coat. Would prefer slightly more angulated rear.
2 Innes’ Icycool Oriana, heavier type with strong hindquarters, would prefer a bit less bone, very sound, good mover.

PGB (4,2) 1 Brook’s Snobruk Secret Liaison (ai), stronger bitch with correct head shape, good front, strong back, excellent rear, good side gait.
2 Dobson & Wolfe’s Sutarka La Dolle Vita, feminine, good expression, medium bone, excellent coat texture, would prefer stronger hindquarters, moves quite well.

LB (10,2) 1 Brown’s Skidooshooz Bohemian Soul Of Cupun (ai), rather tall bitch od excellent balance, excellent head proportions, correct bone, good front, excellent rear, excellent tail, excellent mover with firm topline.
2 Wadrup’s Just Got To Love Me Polarni Usvit, unfortunately not in good coat today. Raher strong head with good muzzle medium angulation, balanced mover with strong bac, good tail.

OB (8,3) 1 Ellis’ Ch Chayo Blue Diamond (ai), very correct and beautifully handled, it was obvious that here is a great challenger for top position. Excellent type and balance, excellent head and expression, excellent pigment, excellent front, strong back, correct tail, good coat. Best mover in this class. CC and BOB.
2 Jarvis & Troisi’s Nordicwinds All Attitude, excellent type, not in full coat today, good head proportions but would prefer a bit more stop, good ribcage, strong rear, positive mover.
