Thank you for an excellent entry, I enjoyed my day immensely. My top four were everything I was looking for in type, substance and soundness and I thought the BOB represented the breed well in the Group, it was nice to see him shortlisted. I have to voice my concerns however, on the number of incorrect bites, especially in the young stock. This doesn’t bode well for the breed as also do tails, which are much too tight and curled on the back. As in most breeds, movement needs to be worked on as soundness is imperative in a working breed.

Veteran Dog
1st Gwinner Lapema Star De Jungla Negra. 7 years in full coat, very typey, with good head, ears and eyes. Well off for bone, correct length of leg and depth of chest. Moved out well, correct tail carriage.
2nd Kaytoo Winter Mischief for Napamute. Another Typey boy, 8 years old. Overall picture standing was good. Correct head, super shape, not quite as true as 1 in front.
3rd. Kaytoo Winter Storm. Attractive head on this boy. Overall shape was good, good jacket. Just not holding himself as well as 1&2 on the move.

Special Puppy Dog
1st. Equinox Woodvram Polarni Usvit. Very promising puppy whose overall make and shape was excellent. Very typey head, excellent expression, dark eyes, neat well placed ears. Well off for bone and substance. In very good jacket with correct coat and tail carriage. Excellent angles and very true on the move.
2nd. Tuvaurat Aramis. Taller and rangier than 1 who still needs time to mature. Made a good shape overall, head, ears and eyes good. In good coat, excellent rear, needs to tighten in front.
3rd Tuvaurat Valentino. Litter brother to 2 and similar remarks apply. Made a nice shape, quality coat, needs time.

Special Junior Dog
1st Articrainbow Last Kiss. Overall balance and shape of this boy was good, well off for bone and substance. Head typical of the breed, ears & eyes correct. In good coat, tail carriage ok. Had a great side gait, just could tighten in front a little
2nd Chayo I Want It All. Attractive boy who was well off for size and substance. In excellent coat, correct length of leg, good head, ears & eyes. Front ok but needs to tighten on the rear both stood and on the move.
3rd Tokosha Atka JW. Typey head, good ears, eyes a touch light. Stood on good front and feet Overall shape good, rear needs to tighten.

Yearling Dog
1st Chayo Vanquish. Very promising young male who really took my eye. Made an excellent shape, with good width and depth of chest, plenty of bone and substance and correct topline. Very attractive head with excellent expression, neat ears and dark eyes. Strong neck, correct tail carriage and excellent rear. Came into his own on the move and well deserved the Reserve CC over some big winners.
2nd Vintage Point Time In Present. Another quality dog who made a good shape both stood and on the move. Good head, strong front, excellent rear, in excellent coat, strong and powerful on the move. Would just prefer a darker eye.
3rd Marahootay Diamond Seeker. A sound dog who has the bone and substance. Made a good shape, tail a little tight.

Post Graduate Dog
1st Icewolf A Touch Of Darkness. Loads to like about this dog, excellent make and shape and super presentation. Great coat, quality head, ears and eyes good, well off for bone, super side gait, rear clean and true. Could just tighten in front a little.
2nd Vintage Point Time In Present. 2nd in yearling dog.
3rd Shepherdsway Black Label of Casiat. Strong black and white. Well off for substance and bone. Good head with correct expression. Sound on the move.

Limit Dog
1st Arcticbreeze Blizzard Of Oz. Difficult class with a variance of type. This boy scored on soundness, overall shape was good and the angles correct. In excellent coat, not the strongest of heads but still quite pleasing, clean both coming and going with an excellent side gait.
2nd Icetrax Zulu Dawn. Full of type, made a great shape on the stand, good head, ears and eyes, in excellent coat. Just a little unsettled in front on the move.
3rd Chayo All Eyes On Me. Bigger male all round, overall type was good, well off for bone and substance, excellent coat and presentation. Still very loose coming and going.

Open Dog
1st WJW Ch ICh Rasta Man Shamanrock. This class was full of type so my final decisions were made on soundness. Everything I wanted in a Malamute male in this first male. Absolutely oozed breed type, fabulous head piece, correct neat ears, dark eyes, correct scissor bite, strongest of fronts, excellent width and depth of chest, strong back. Excellent rear both in strength and angles which he used on the move with great efficiency. Really looked as if he could work all day. Dog CC & BOB.
2nd Ch Ir Ch Chayo Dom Perignon ShCM. Another boy who scored on type and excelled in movement. Head and expression are good, front and feet correct. Overall shape is excellent. In great coat and super presentation. Just couldn’t match the bone and substance of 1.
3rd Ch Tuvaurat Made In America JW ShCM. One I judged as a puppy and gave top honours to and my opinion has not changed. Very typey, with quality head, good overall shape and sound on the move.

Veteran Bitch
1st Gorkeane De Jungla Negra. Very strong bitch with great substance and bone. Good front and feet, good width of chest, firm back, strong rear. Quality head piece, in super coat, correct tail, still moves very soundly and produces good side gait.
2nd Ch Hawkam’s Harlequin ShCM. Another bitch I have always liked. Has everything you would want in a Malamute bitch’s head. Neat ears, correct muzzle length, dark eyes and great expression. Well off for bone, moves out with purpose, still a bit silly with her tail but a great bitch.
3rd Koldsnap Stormy Blue at Arcticbreeze. Third of a good trio. Sound, typey, good coat and moving out well.

Special Puppy Bitch
1st Chayo Sweet Sensation at Snowstruck. Quality puppy bitch of excellent type. Plenty of leg under her, good front and feet, correct height and length of body. In good coat, attractive head with pretty, feminine expression. Ears just a touch large at this stage. Sound on the move.
2nd Snowshoes Diamond Cut. Pretty feminine bitch with everything in the right places at this time. Good head with nice expression, straight front, tight feet, good overall shape, coat correct. Just needs to tighten up in front to complete the picture.
3rd Blaiddeira Chaos Reigns. Strong Puppy bitch well off for bone and substance. In good coat, pleasing head, moved out ok.

Special Junior Bitch
1st Tokosha Issumatar. Black bitch, very sound and typey with good head and ears. In good coat with super tail carriage, good front and feet, strong rear. Correct angles, firm topline, made and excellent shape both standing and moving.
2nd Monikoona Behind Brown Eyes. Quality bitch with pleasing head and expression. Neat ears, correct eye colour. Good front and feet. Moved out well, tail a little tight.
3rd Polarpaws Prancer. Very pretty bitch with attractive head, correct ears and eyes. Overall body shape is good, quality coat, her rear lets her down on the move.

Yearling Bitch
1st Tokosha Issumatar. 1st in Junior.
2nd Snowallen Oneidaz. Typey sound bitch with pleasing head and expression. Overall shape was correct, sound on the move. Not in full coat today.
3rd Pelentan Stella Aurora. Strong bitch, nice shaped head, ears a touch large. Straight front, strong rear, tail carriage correct, sound on the move.

Post Graduate Bitch
1st Koromandel Glamorous Indie. Not the biggest of bitches but full of quality. Makes a great shape both standing and moving. Good straight front and tight feet. Head piece correct and very feminine, correct topline, strong rear and very sound on the move.
2nd Snobruk Skyes Reflection. Another bitch of nice type, strong in head, well off for bone and substance, good angles, true coming and going with good side gait. Not quite in full coat today.
3rd Kegluneq Envy of Shaktoolik. Bigger bitch all round than 1 & 2. In good coat, head piece ok, body shape good, correct tail carriage.

Limit Bitch
1st Polarpaws Apache Princess at Shamanictrax. Smart bitch of good type, pleasing correct head, neat ears and dark eyes. Stands on strong front and tight feet. Good body shape and strong rear. Excellent angles, very sound and stylish on the move.
2nd Dreamwolves Mystic Vision at Snowshoes. Smaller bitch than 1 but overall make and shape was good. Attractive head, correct in ears and eyes, strong neck, good front and rear. Used herself well on the move.
3rd Nowitnas Ataataga Tabbaq von Catua. Strong bitch with great bone and substance. Made a lovely shape, excellent topline, super coat, just a little close on the move.

Open Bitch
1st Pol/Pol Jr Ch. Ilia Lucky Appalachian. Not the biggest of bitches but absolutely oozes quality and so feminine. Very pretty head and expression, dark eyes and neat, well placed ears. Strong neck, firm topline and super rear with correct tail carriage. Made a great shape both standing and moving and so true coming and going. Well deserved CC today, a class act.
2nd Polarpaws Naknek Dreamer. Similar bitch to 1 in type although slightly bigger. Full of type with excellent head and expression. Plenty of bone and substance, strong front and rear which she used on the move. Pulled out all the stops to win Res CC and pushed 1 hard.
3rd Chayo Better Than Chocolate. Made a nice overall shape, angles were good, plenty of bone and substance. Head piece ok, ears a little low set, just lacked animation today.
