Just a quick mention that today quite a few of the dogs were distracted by the drain covers under the carpet that were clanking when stepped on and this affected their performances quite a lot. Maybe for the future these could be taped down before the carpet is laid to help prevent this happening. The rings were a good size and allowed the dogs to show off their movement to the maximum as long as they avoided the drain covers. I did mention it and hopefully next year it will be rectified

SBD 1 Facer & Facer’s Chayo Unlock The Power 11 month old well constructed youngster with a promising future ahead. Good head piece with correct strong teeth and jaws. Ears set wide apart and used well when alerted. Good length of neck into moderate shoulders and straight front. Enough in ribbing for age and size. Steady and true on the move in any direction. Presented in dense jacket of good texture BSB.
2 Hooley’s Black Stripe At Dokkalfar 18 month old that is a tad shorter on leg than winner here today and as such didn’t have the same reach and drive. Good head shape and size with full clean dentition and strength in jaw. Ample ribbing and depth of chest. Shown in good jacket and body toning.

JD 1 Morris’ Chayo Top Gun 11 month sturdily built all through with good bone and length of leg. Strong proportionate headpiece with well set ears and eyes. Muscular neck into moderate forehand supported by compact feet. Well let down in chest and sprung in rib, holds a firm topline at all times standing or in motion where he is sound and true in all directions. Needs time to settle into his stride. BPIB & BJIB

PGD 1 Perfitt & Perfitt’s Samjoe Shadowhunter JW Rising 2 year old grey. Strong well proportioned head with correct ear set and dark almond eyes. Good length of neck easing into well angulated front with good bone and compact feet. Stands at a good height with correct sloping topline. Well muscled in quarters allowing a hard driving action to compliment his reach. Shown in full dense jacket. At one with his handler at all times.

LD 1 Smith & Smith’s Cash The Check Shamanrock at Snowshoes (Cze Imp) JW Well constructed 21 month old that moves as well as he is made with a good stride pattern and complete soundness at all times. Good head to handle with strength in jaw and large clean dentition and correct scissor bite. Good length of neck into strong forehand and straight front. Well ribbed up, firm in back and muscular in quarters. Shown in full clean jacket.
2 Phoenix’s Snow Legend Zenith Of Fame Nordicwinds (Imp Rus) JW 4 year old sable that really didn’t get his act together on the day and seemed somewhat unsettled and didn’t move anywhere near as well as his construction said he should have done. I put this down to the flooring and think he suffered more than others. Strong well proportioned head to handle with correct dentition, mid eye shade and ears set on and used to his benefit. Defined in quarters and well toned. Shown in full bloom.

OD 1 Jelfs’ CH Lapema Malizioso 4 ½ year old in his prime and showing his socks off today. Super head to handle with correct dentition and strength in jaws. Ears set wide, dark almond eyes complete the picture. Muscular forehand with very good angulation and strong bone supported by compact feet and strong pasterns. Well let down in chest and sprung in ribbing, holds his back firm at all times, topline slopes gently from withers to croup. Hindquarters mirror his forehand to perfection giving a well balanced silhouette from any angle. On the move he is fluent and exact in his footfall, covering the ground with consummate ease and efficiency. Presented to the enth degree in jacket and conditioning. DCC & BOB
2 Ellis-Payne’s Chayo Trust The Magic2 year old and as ever from this kennel presented to the limit not only in jacket but overall body condition as well. Good head shape and proportions, dark well set eyes, large clean teeth with scissor bite. Ample length of neck into well constructed forehand and straight front. Firm in back and defined in quarters allowing an easy ground covering stride and footfall. Only a matter of time before he is titled given today’s showing. RDCC

SBB 1 Hooley’s Bartkennels Magic Soho 11 months old and quite well made in framework but she does need to body up with maturity. Balanced in head with good proportions and well set ears and eyes. Good length of neck to moderate forehand in terms of angles and toning. Well ribbed up for her age and size, holds her topline on the move. Correct coat texture.
2 Hooley’s Bartkennels Ljosalfar Litter sister with many of the same attributes but she is smaller cast although equally as balanced all through. Actually moved better than her sister on the day but I preferred the leg length of winner. I would say they will change places often depending on the day.

VB 1 Copley-Holland’s AM UK HR CH Katabatics Hollaback Girl At just 8 years old she is solid all through from head to tail. Well proportioned in head powerfully built and angulated in forehand with matching hindquarters giving her the framework under her dense jacket to be more than capable of a good day’s work. She is as sound as a pound on the move with very good ground clearance and footfall. Comes to rest standing four square with minimal fuss from her handler. BVIB

PB 1 Patrick & Ashman’s Okinastar Destiny Calling at Coldasice 9 month old dark lady that needs time to settle and when she does she is sound and accurate in her stride. Clean well proportioned head to handle, mid brown eye shade and well set ears. Strong in forehand with moderate angulation and straight front. Well ribbed up for her age. Toned in quarters allowing a steady stride once settled.

JB 1 Sheehan & Sheehan’s Powderhound’s Sparks Will Fly at Amaqqut (Imp Usa) 15 months old and should have a promising future from today’s showing. Strong proportionate head without losing her feminine appeal. Moderate angulation fore and aft giving her the framework to move out and back as cleanly as she did today in tune with her handler. Presented in full clean jacket.
2 Patrick & Ashman’s Okinastar Destiny Calling at Coldasice

PGB 1 Perfitt & Perfitt’s Samjoe Seelie Queen Rising 2 years old this lady was let down today by the ring I feel as mentioned before about the drain covers and as such gave her patient handler a hard time and didn’t move as well as her construction suggested she should have done. Scores well in head, full clean dentition, dark almond eyes and well set ears. Strong neck into well laid shoulders and straight front. Good ribbing, firm in back with gentle sloping topline. Muscular quarters. Shown in full clean coat of good texture.

LB 1 Copley-Holland’s Katabatics Troubleshooter JW 16 month old well constructed through from head to quarters. Strong yet feminine in head with dark almond eyes and strength in jaws. Good length of neck into well placed shoulders and straight front with compact feet. Deep in chest, ample spring to ribbing, topline strong and sloping into muscular quarters. Well presented in jacket and conditioning.
2 Page & Page’s Snow Legend Zest For Life Cedarcreek (Imp Rus) Close run call. This 3 year old has a bit more substance but no so good in topline today. Good head to handle, proportionate and strong without being overdone in any way. Powerful neck into moderate front assembly. Well ribbed up and defined in quarters. Easy on the move from any angle. Shown in full coat.

OB 1 Ellis-Payne’s Chayo Distinctive 3 ¾ year old and like her kennel mate presented to perfection in coat and toning. Scores well in head, correct oblique eyes and wide set ears. Forehand is spot on for angulation and muscle toning and all mirrored to a “T” in her quarters allowing the seemingly effortless movement here today. BCC
2 Phoenix’s Snow Legend Be My Lucky Nordicwinds (Imp Rus) JW Close call between these two with little between them in terms of build and overall performance. At 6 years old she is still as fit as the proverbial butchers dog and never loses her shape either standing or on the move where she is sound and exact in her stride. Another put down to the limit in coat and muscle toning. RBCC
