My thanks to the Boston Committee, for giving me my first CC appointment in the Breed. Thank you also to all who took time off to come to a weekday show, I know it is not easy, especially so soon after the Christmas Break. Whilst the ring was adequate, the breed is always going to show and move much better outside, and whilst you try to allow for this, some placings could well have been different with more room on grass. However I was pleased with all my winners and felt the selection present showed the breed to be in a good place, with the exception of mouths, which breeders still do not appear to be getting to grips with in breeding programmes

1ST ELLIS Ice Gangsta’s Ball of Fire for Chayo (Imp Deu) two very nice babies, this red 8 month old just moved out better with more drive and more freely. Good head piece with some maturing to do, lovely expression, good weight, harsh coat, good bone, plumed tail, pastern need to strengthen, strong hocks, needs to come together still on the move and was beaten in puppy class by a stronger neater mover, however exciting prospect
2ND DOLAN Muzoka Take Me With’U to Siskara Grey baby, 9 months old but slightly overwhelmed by the day. Beautiful head, well muscled, lovely coat, slightly short tail, carrying a touch too much weight. Compact boy, lots to like

3RD WINDLEY & TAYLOR Royaltaylor Black Pearl Super b/w 15 month old boy at a rather gangly ‘kevin’ stage in his development, touch loose front on move, needs to tighten, muscle and mature, which will surely come. Lovely head, one to watch

1ST PAGE & JARVIS Cedarcreek Frozen Asset Typical g/w 21 month old male with everything in the right place and correctly proportioned although not the biggest of boys. Presented and handled excellently. Too small & oblique an eye, good muzzle, lovely peak, strong hock, good front construction, well muscled, correct sloping top line, moved true & strode out well, just not ‘on fire’ enough in the challenge for higher placing.
2ND BROOK Snobruk Secret Mission (AI) 5th in JD, 17 month g/w touch round eye in otherwise pretty head, rolling rather on move today and not moving out enough on go around with tendency to roach (possibly didn’t like surface) Needs to straighten through front and tighten through pasterns and hocks

POST GRADUATE DOG (4,2a)
1ST WINDLEY & TAYLOR Kaskae Lets Get it On At Royaltaylor Long cast male, who doesn’t use this length to cover enough ground. Easy mover but not the powerful rhythmic gait I was looking for. Top line slopes then raises, small eye, good front, feet touch flat, pasterns ok, coat ok. True on out and back
2ND BLANEY Viking Fenrir Kin of Kiyara’s Wolf Pak (Imp DE) Rising 4 years, very happy chappy, thoroughly enjoying his day and exhibiting a ground eating side gait, however he is a large male with a touch snipey large head, short in back, long in leg, very good feet, soft coat, good stifle

1ST THOMPSON Libertia in the Red at Shomont CC 5 year old, smaller cast, beautifully mature red. Owned this great class, good size, easy mover, lovely harsh coat, very well handled, good feet, correct length to height, interested expression, lovely ears. Just loved him. Rocked the Dog challenge, out moving everyone, but never really got going for best of breed. Hope he makes up
2ND LOADES Snowolf Black Ice Buddy Another smaller cast 2 year old b/w boy, lots to like, needs to mature through chest, true mover, pretty face & expression , good coat, great outline, would just like more muscle
3RD ELLIS & NEVINSON Chayo Golden Touch SHCM Big boy, 2 years old g/w, very pretty boy, lovely head and expression, tending to roach and play up on move today, but did settle enough for placing, would like harsher coat texture, good future, maturing well

OPEN DOG (12,2a) Very nice class overall but a number of wet mouths and teeth issues were disappointing
1ST DOLAN Siskara the Spy Who Loved Me JW SHCM RCC Beautiful compact 4 year old g/w. Excellent head and expression, lovely neck carriage, touch old fashioned, good size, nice ears, lovely foreface and mask. Good front, well handled, moved true, good pasterns, touch tight tail. Fingers crossed for his crown.
2ND THOMPSON CH Shomont Rasin Cain SHCM This 6.5 year dog is the complete package to look at; he has such substance and size whilst still presenting a fabulous light footed movement covering so much ground. All together he is breathtaking, today just wasn’t his day, but a very worthy Champion that it was an honour to judge. Well handled and presented.
3RD WOLFE CH Hawkeye Polarni Usvit Within Dreamwolves (Imp CZE) 6 year old g/w another I always love, and another worthy Champion, unlucky to meet these two on such form, lovely head and eye, lovely neck, great front, great feet, harsh coat, lovely tail, just not on fire and on form today

2ND ROBB CH/INT/BEL/LUX/GER/NL CH Under Icewolf’s Star Inditarod JW SHCM EJW10 (Imp CZE) Have always loved this 7.5 year old g/w, such a pocket rocket, lovely masculine head, good outline, touch soft in pastern, handled well, powered around the ring
3RD HAYWOOD Snowolf Ice Cold Mischief (AI) 9 year old beautiful deep red & white, narrow through front and lacked muscle which ultimately let his movement down, good outline on stand with correct sloping top line

1ST ELLIOTT & CAMPBELL Packice Neiden Winterling 15 month b/w bitch, maturing so well, I just loved her, best mover in class, ok bone, feet need to strengthen, good length, correct outline, good slope to top line, good ear, interested expression and lovely plumed tail. Moved so well and so consistently in the challenge to take the well deserved RCC. Exciting times are surely ahead for her.
2ND COPLEY-HOLLAND Adair ‘N’ Hug I Love To Boogie (Imp USA) 12 month old of distinctive colouring, coming together very nicely, tending to roach which was a shame, good feet, good bone, strong hocks, easy mover in lovely rock solid condition, needs to mature and slightly soften through head. One to be proud of
3RD ELLIS Chayo Inspiration Very pretty 17 month old g/w, lovely head, out of coat which just showed her lovely construction, moved true just not as easy on move as first two, in hard condition, well handled and well deserved place

1ST ROBOTTOM Packice Orsa at Blacksummit Love this 3.5 year old b/w but ultimately she was carrying too little weight, which when competing in the challenge resulted in her losing out as she presented too much tuck. Excellent mover, powers around the ring, economically & with grace, love her head & expression, feminine but substantial all over, fabulous harsh coat and so well muscled
2ND PAGE Cedarcreek Exquisite This 5.5 year old g/w just kept getting better and better the more I asked of the class, lovely outline, good front, powerful hocks, harsh coat, lovely balance, she just wouldn’t let the others out move her.
3RD LOADES Snowolf Black Powder Chick 2 year old b/w loved her tail, good plush coat, good angles, moved well but just lacked the drive and reach of the first two, will only get better with age, exciting prospect

1ST MORT CH Arcticbreeze Midnite Echo CC BOB 6 year old grey white, bitch record holder and I now know exactly why she is. She was off her game to begin then switched herself on and henceforth never stopped demanding the CC. Cheeky expression, fabulous correct outline, every time I look back at her picture I smile, lovely plumed tail, moderate angulation, sloping top line, good harsh coat, rhythmic ground eating gait, true out and back, I could watch her all day. Substantial size which is all bone & muscle. Proud to have judged her and to award her the CC & BOB
2ND BLANEY Windberg Paparazzi To Fenrirkin Good size, nearly veteran b/w girl, pushed & pushed but Echo just kept on upping the game in the class, beautiful head, keen expression, strong bone, good gait, lovely neck, hope she makes up
3RD JELFS Justami Meoquanee Per Lapema JW Lovely 4.5 year r/w, so unlucky to meet the other two, love her head & expression, good ear, nice weight & muscling, touch out of coat and would prefer tighter feet

3RD LOADES CH Snowolf Manhatten Marvel 7 year old g/w, worthy Champion, lovely head, feel she would have loved outdoors more, slightly less muscled and touch narrow through front, well handled, pleasure to judge
