A real pleasure to judge at this Breed Club Open show. I express my sincere thanks to the Officers and Committee and congratulate them on a well run show which was held at the Kennel Club Building at Stoneleigh. Judging took place in the outdoor rings which are large for exhibits which enabled them to show off their paces with no hiding places! My ring Stewards did a sterling job keeping everything running like clockwork. So thank you to Mr Steve Rann, Liz Dziergas and Miss Georgie Willets. Finally, but not least, thanks to the Exhibitors for this entry of 37 on paper with 12 absentees!
My assignment was to judge the Bitch classes along with my Co-Judge Mr Glyn Payne who judged the Males. We both totally agreed on all decisions without any fuss. The male Multi Ch Magician Uniroyal who we jointly awarded Best in Show went on the claim the CC at the Breed Club Championship Show on the same day and our joint decision to award Best Puppy in Show to Snowshoes Sweet Symphony also went on the Best Puppy in Show at the Breed Club Championship Show!

Baby Puppy Bitch (2)
Both exhibits are only 4 months old but both show much promise.
1st Brouard, Orsmals Una Lelu. Has plenty to admire all through at this stage. Feminine in head which displays correct proportions. Ears are well placed. Body proportions display good overall balance. She stands on quality bone with neat compact feet. Understandably she needs to connect on the move but in time with maturity this will come together. Pleased to witness that she went on the Best Baby Puppy in Show at the Breed Club Championship Show.
2nd Smith, Snowshoes Time for Jenga. This baby has all the attributes of the winner and is an eye catcher for sure. Just not as forward in stature as the winner but I’m sure will grow on and do well.

Puppy Bitch (1)
1st Smith, Snowshoes Sweet Symphony, 9 months. Eye catching individual of above average merit. Feminine in head which displays correct balance. Excellent in dentition with a clear eye which gives off a sweet expression all topped off with neat well placed mobile ears. Her neck flows into a clean front assembly with parallel forelegs. Her overall body proportions display good balance. She stands on quality bone with neat compact feet. Topline leads to a well set tail. On the out and back she displayed accurate footfalls whilst holding a pleasing profile on the go around. As usual presentation was one hundred percent and handled sympathetically to gain maximum output. Another from this kennel that should reach the top. Best Puppy in Show also Best Puppy in Show at the Breed Club Championship Show.

Junior Bitch (1)
1st Druce, Druce, Aitchison, Kaskae ooh La La Avec Druxie JW, 14 months. So much to admire all through on this one. Feminine in head with correct proportions. Excellent in dentition with a clear eye which gives off a pleasing expression all topped off with neat mobile ears. Her neck flows into a well laid shoulder with sufficient in forechest. She has enough in rib with a gentle slope in topline which leads to a well set tail. She stands on good bone and feet. On the move she was accurate whilst holding a pleasing profile on the go around. More to come and with more maturity should continue to catch the eye!

Postgraduate Bitch6 (1 ab)
1st Smith, Snowshoes Light the Way, 14 months. Yet another smart individual of above average merit with plenty to admire all through. Feminine in head which displays correct proportions with good dentition with a dark expressive eye which gives off an appealing expression. Correct in dentition with dark pigment. Her neck flows into a clean front assembly with sufficient in forechest. Ribbing is good with gentle slope in topline which leads to a well set plumed tail. She stands on quality bone with neat compact feet. On the out and back she displayed accurate footfalls whilst holding a pleasing profile on the go around. Will continue to impress!
2nd Hughes, Artictribes Strange Magic to Ukluk. She has many of the winners qualities throughout. Head, eye and expression all good with well placed ears. Plenty in neck with correct topline and tailset. She stands on correct bone and feet. Moved out well both ways and was presented in good order. Just felt on the day the winner was just a little more forward in body. Should however continue to do well.
3rd Prescott, Lueldar Beautiful Rosa of Bearnortham (IKC). Has plenty of good breed points to admire all through. Head, eye and expression all correct. Body proportions display good overall balance with bone and feet ok. Just not putting all in on the move as the first two.

Limit Bitch 6 (3 ab)
1st Morris, Chayo Love on the Rocks, 23 months. Has plenty to admire all through. Head displays correct proportions with excellent detention. Clear in eye with neat well placed mobile ears. Plenty in neck with sufficient forechest. Topline slopes gently down to correct tail set with plenty in rib. She stands on quality bone with neat compact feet. On the out and back she displayed accurate footfalls whilst holding a pleasing profile on the go around. Presented in good order. More to come from this one. Please to see that she won Limit Bitch at the Breed Club Championship Show!
2nd Perfitt, Samjoe Seelie Queen, 3 years old. Plenty to admire about this one. Feminine in head which displays correct proportions with a dark expressive eye. Neat well placed ears. Plenty in neck with ribbing extended well back. Topline slopes to a well set tail. She stands on good bone with compact feet. Another that displayed good reach and drive on the out and back. Close up to the winner!
3rd Burgess, Tolketna Top of the World to Mountainglen, 3 years old. A well grown individual of substance and overall size but is feminine in head with a dark expressive eye. Good fill in forechest with ribbing extended well back. She stands on strong bone with ok feet. Would have preferred more positive rear movement and did tend to lose topline on the go around.

Open Bitch 4 (1 ab)
1st Page, Ch The Magician Bloody Mary Cedercreek (Imp Ita), 5 year old fully mature exhibit and it was a privilege to get hand on such a quality girl at this level. Feminine in head which displays correct balance with a dark correct almond shaped eye which gives off a pleasing expression all topped off with net well furred ears which she uses to good advantage at all times. Her neck has strength with good arch. Forechest is well filled. Topline slopes gently to a well set plumed tail with ribbing extended well back to a firm loin. She stands on excellent bone with neat compact feet. On the stack she displays true balance. On the move she comes to life displaying accurate footfalls on the out and back whilst holding an eye catching profile on the go around. She was presented in excellent coat and condition. Best Bitch, no hesitation and she put the Dog to the sword in the final run off for Best in Show. Reserve Best in Show and no disgrace here!
2nd Copley-Holland, Ch Katabatics Troubleshooter JW, 2 years old. It’s easy to see why this exhibit wears her crown. Quality all through with a feminine head which displays true
balance. Dark expressive eyes, plenty in neck with good fill in forechest. Correct front assembly with plenty in rib. Gentle slope in topline which leads to a correct tailset. She is balanced fore and aft and stands on quality bone with neat compact feet. Unfortunately today she would not play ball on the move giving her talented handler such a hard time so had to pay the penalty but I’m sure will continue to do well!
3rd Nevinson, Ch Chayo Causin Chaos, 6 year old mature individual yet another title holder. She scores in head, eye and expression with well placed ears. Good fill in forechest with plenty in neck. Ribbing is extended well back whilst she stands on strong bone with compact feet. She has a wealth of coat, profile movement was ok but just not as positive whilst going away but completing a trio of worthy “Ch’s”.

Special Veteran 7-9 (2)
1st Brouard, Ch Jsy, Ch Sutarka Coco Chanel at Orsamals PDH, 9 years old. Appeals for overall good breed type. Feminine head which displays good balance with a dark expressive eye. Ears are well placed. Her neck flows into a clean front assembly with good fill in forechest. Ribbing is extended well back to a firm loin. Topline has a gentle slope which leads to a well set tail. She stands on quality bone with neat compact feet. On the out and back she displayed accurate footfalls whilst holding a pleasing profile on the go around and was presented in excellent coat and condition. Pleased to award her Reserve Best

2nd Perfitt, Samjoe’s the One and Only VW 8 years old. Plenty to admire about this one. She scores in head, eye and expression. Plenty in neck. Ribbing is extended well back with correct slope in topline with good tailset. She stands on good bone with neat feet. She was piloted by her young talented handler. Keep going young man!

Special Veteran 10 Years and Over
1st Burgess, Cedarcreek Forever Young at Mountainglen, 10 years old. A well grown individual of substance throughout but is feminine in head with a dark expressive eye. Good strength neck with ample forechest. She is well ribbed. Correct slope in topline with ok tailset. She stands on strong bone with neat compact feet. Moved out well both ways and was well presented.
2nd Brouard, Dreamwolves J’Adore at Orsamal PDH, eleven and a half years old. She scores in head, eye and expression with well placed ears. Neck is moderate with good fill in forechest with ribbing extended well back. She stands on correct bone with neat feet. On the out and back she was steady both ways. A credit to the longevity to the breed.
