Thank you to the AMCUK Committee for asking me to judge at their Championship Show July 2021, Many thanks to the exhibitors for my lovely entry. It was a very hot day, for both the exhibitors and the dogs and because of the heat, I didn’t move the dogs as much as I would have normally liked to have done. I was pleased to see in my line up’s many fit and muscular dogs, only a handful were overweight. Some of my decisions were very close, and there were some lovely dogs. The veterans were the ones who enjoyed their day the most, which was lovely to see. I was very happy with my final line ups, but these could have been different on a different day.

1 Horsman & Horsman Phoenix’s Nordicwinds Grtest Showman, 7 months old , overall balance is and proportions are there, and just as it should be at this age. Correct bite and pleasing headpiece, with lovely dark eye, lovely feet and nice deep toes, nice to see the correct waving plume tail. No excess weight, and correct course coat.

1 Whyman & Murray’s Tailfly Heart of Gold, Handsome headpiece, with correct bite and stop, nice oblique dark eye, lacking coat, but with correct texture. Well-muscled youngster with lots to like, good bone and substance, well arched toes and correct feet. Well balanced dog, who moved with ease, good reach and drive, one to watch for the future.
2 Innes Icycool Atomic, Nice Dark eye, correct dentition, lovely tail set and correct coat, nice tight feet, he felt the heat today, so this affected his movement.
3 Blair’s Cedarcreek Heart of London, Taller and larger framed dog, with correct feet, good bite, mature headpiece, good overall proportions, but just needs broaden to fill out in body.

1 Martin’s Wen Magick Happenz At Dreamwolves, B/W Good Overall picture, masculine head, with nice width to skull and muzzle, and correct bite. Well laid shoulders and firm thigh, just needs to firm up, this should happen with age.

1 Darlow’s Iceclimb Accent, SW Boy with a lovely dark eye, and correct ear placement, with a handsome head, Nice deep fore chest and firm thighs , super in profile, and correct topline on the move, nice deep feet, good strong hocks and pasterns, moved with a powerful drive and gait.
2 Smiths Snowshoes who dares wins, Good pigment, large muzzle, ears a little high set, overall balanced dog, shown in great body and condition, just didn’t have the movement of 1.

1 Jelfs Lapema Malizioso, 19 months male, with lots to like, maturing just as he should, in lovely harsh coat, nice dark eye with good ear and eye placement. Good front assembly, lovely balance and structure, moved with ease, another young dog with a bright future.
2 Whyman’s Heartbreaker Siwash Legend ( Imp Cze), B/W Another dog who left his coat at home, lovely masculine head with small neat ear, Athletic body, with correct shoulder and front assembly. Powerful rear, with a ground covering gait, great feet, effortless movement.
3 Bogle & Horsfield’s Whitewalker Kings Landing At Valknut, Nice dog of correct proportions, lighter eye than I would like, with correct headpiece, lovely waving plume tail, correct shoulder and nice deep chest. Moved with a balanced side gait.

1 Loades Ch Snowolf Black Ice Buddy, 6-year-old dog at full maturity, and oozes breed type. Loved his Beautiful Headpiece, with good back skull, small neat ears, large muzzle and correct stop. Correct oblique dark eye, lots of balance and substance with deep chest and good spring of rib, feet large and compact, Strong hocks with strong thighs which gave him drive, super outline on profile. This boy took my eye as he entered the ring, he could work all day, was my pleasure to Award him the CC and Best in Show.
2 Page’s Snow Legend Believe In you Cedarcreek JW (Imp Rus), It was a close call between these two, and maturity showed. A lovely young dog in good coat of harsh texture. Lovely head with enough stop, nice dark eye and correct bite. Correct front with good shoulder placement, Good length of neck and good outline. Well-muscled dog, balanced with moderate angles. Moved with drive. He just needs to mature. RBIS
3 Forsey’s Cristakell April Moon Over Muzoku, Super head, with correct ear and eye placement, good length of neck and good outline. Correct harsh coat, large feet, powerful hindquarters, and moved with drive.

1 Pullin & Mountsteven’s Ch Inupiat’s Qulit Henrik at Whitewalker (Imp Nor), larger sized male, in good working condition, correct tail and set. Correct deep foot, with strong hocks onto well-muscled thighs. Pleasing head, with correct ear and eye placement, eye just a little lighter than I would prefer, correct scissor bite. Very sound dog, who powered around the ring, another who could work all day.
2 Aitchison & Hurst’s Ch Kaskae Hooked on a Feeling Shcm, Another larger male, in good jacket, lovely headpiece , with good back skull. And good bite, with correct deep muzzle, Correct tail set. Longer in loin dog, balanced with plenty of reach, but just didn’t have the drive today in the heat.
3 Whyman & Murray’s Tailfly Nightcrawler, s/w dog, going out of coat, very balanced dog with good spring of rib and moderate angles front and rear. Pleasing headpiece with dark eye, and good depth to muzzle, correct scissor bite. Beautiful topline, which he held on the move, another who didn’t like the heat.

1 Horsman & Horsman Phoenix’s Nordicwinds Miss Marvel, just 6 months, lovely Feminine puppy bitch, with nice overall shape, pleasing head with dark eye and correct bite. Excellent feet, Good coat and condition, good lay back of shoulder, lovely waving plume tail set. Sometimes standing a little bum high, but moved with an easy gait, with no excess weight.

1 Bogle & Horsfields Cahppe’s Tailwind Takala at Valknut Naf Taf ,10 months b/w Puppy bitch with lots to like, lovely headpiece with medium ear and a dark almond eye, would have preferred a looser tail, but the set was correct. good feet. With well arched toes, really liked her overall shape, well off for bone. She won the class on her movement, which was effortless, moved with drive. BP

2 John’s Chardicea Devon Mist, It was a close call between the first 2, in good jacket, strong loin and good muscle tone. Lovely feminine head, with good bite and correct ear and eye placement. Very nice side gait.
3 Millington’s Chayo Brightest Star at Daranash ,g/w Balanced bitch with a nice overall shape, correct tail set, correct harsh coat, good sized feet, with well arched toes, strong broad thigh and well let down hocks, feminine head, with correct proportions, moved ok.

2 Perfitt’s Samjoe’s The Good Witch, Another that left her coat at home, but still of good proportions, Feminine head with good back skull and depth to muzzle. Would have preferred a little more bone. Moved ok.
3 Murray’s Snowmischief If I Can Dream, B/w pretty head with good balance and proportions, Good lay of shoulder and arch to neck, with correct depth of chest, good pigment, excellent side gait and profile.

1 Butler’s Paha Sapa Mals Blahnik Via Kaytoo (Imp Ita), s/w girl, pretty head with dark eye and correct ear and eye placement, good back skull and depth to muzzle. Good depth to chest and, powerful rear with well let down hock, nice broad thigh, moved with drive.
2 Whyman’s Tailfly Bloodline, A little unsettled, which cost her the class, good lay of shoulder and front, Balanced in angles front and rear, In good coat, very pretty headpiece, with correct stop, nice small well furred ear, correct bite, , such a shame as she did eventually move better, once she had settled.

3 Warburton’s Tailfly Jitterbug, Another Very pretty Girl, with lots to like, beautiful headpiece with well furred ears, nice dark almond eye, well-muscled front and rear, strong neck with good angles, lovely overall shape, moved with drive.

1 Pullin & Mountsteven’s You Are the One of Kiyara’s Wolf Pak (Imp Deu), Now at 5 years old, this bitch has reached her peak, In good working condition, well-muscled but so feminine, Very Pretty head, with correct proportions ,nice dark almond eye, Athletic bitch with Correct deep Front, and good spring of rib, well-muscled thigh, she moved around the ring like she could do it all day, every day ! She was a delight to watch, lovely in profile and on the move, my pleasure to award her 2nd CC.
2 Smith’s Snowshoes The White Witch, Another quality bitch, who demanded attention. Good pigmentation throughout, nice feminine head , with correct bite, and dark almond eye. In excellent coat, Strong hocks and rear, lovely deep feet and toes. strong pasterns, overall, of good proportions, very nice in profile and lovely moving side gait.
3 Copley-Holland’s Am Ch Katabatic’s Hollaback Girl, A little unsettled, Balanced girl with correct proportions, feminine head with good bite and ear and eye placement. Good lay of shoulder, nice deep chest. Correct waving plume tail, good spring of rib, well let down hocks, moved ok, but did not settle on the final stand. Maybe the heat got to her.

1 Page & Horsman & Horsman Phoenix’s Ch Shakira Northwest Arctic, It a few years since I judged this happy go lucky girl, and she still thinks she is a puppy. Nice overall shape, correct bite, with feminine head, would just prefer a little more stop. She moved with drive and thoroughly enjoyed her day out.

1 Blaney’s Ch/IR Ch Windberg Paparazzi to Fenrirkin Shcm VW, 11 and half years old, and who would have thought it, still in good condition, good bite, nice feminine head, eye dark but a little round lovely expression, excellent front and rear, Pleasure to still see her enjoying herself and still being able to power around the ring.
