I would like to thank the AMCUK Committee for inviting me to judge the Club Show, the day was a great success, and had a lovely atmosphere, Thank you to my stewards who made my judging appointment run smoothly, and for keeping me on time, Finally a huge thank you to all the Exhibitors who trusted me to assess their Malamutes, there were many excellent dogs presented to me, and some classes were extremely difficult to make a decision, on another day some of the results could have been different. Overall quality was of high standard, and temperament  was exceptional. I found a few level bites which I hope breeders are working to eliminate.

Minor Puppy Dog (1Entry, 0Abs)
1st: Mrs KE COPLEY-HOLLAND Qimugta Comes With Hugs (imp NED). Handsome boy, nice head piece, correct proportion skull to muzzle, correct ear placement, dark eyes and pigment. Soft expression, Correct scissor bite, moved true on the away but a little loose in the front on return, nice arched  neck going into a soft sloping top line. Nice tail. Short pasterns and hocks.

Puppy Dog (1Entry, 0 Abs)
1^st & RBPIB: Mr ARMENTI Lueldar The Force Awakens at Albakiara. Attractive 11 month old. Correct wedge shaped head with lovely ear placement & correct bite, good dark eye and pigment, lovely outline, moved a little wide on the away, good spring of rib, nice top line on the move, thick harsh coat, and beautiful tail.

Junior Dog (5 Entries, 0 Abs)
1st: Miss AL DARLOW Iceclimb Ascent. Handsome dog not in full coat, but coat was harsh as it should be, good head with very dark eyes and pigment, nice arch to neck and solid top line on the move, moved true on the away and return, balanced angulations, good spring of rib, nice short pasterns and hocks strong arched toes, .moved with drive.

2nd: J FIEGE Chivas Regal Malamute Sanctuary (imp). Very masculine with correct wedge shaped head correct ear placement,  scissor bite, dark eye and dark pigment moderate turn of stifle, short pasterns and hocks excellent tail set moved with ease.

3^rd: Mrs JE & Miss J SMITH Snowshoes Telmarine King. Nice dog with good proportions, balanced angulations, strong neck and firm top line, short hocks and pasterns,  could have been placed higher, but moved slightly stilted on the out and return. good harsh coat

Yearling Dog (4 Entries 0 Abs)

1st: Mr R & Mrs N RABY Yuayua at Icemoon (imp). Masculine boy with wedge shaped head of correct proportions Dark eye and pigment scissor bite, arched neck leading to strong slightly sloping top line good bone balanced angulations, spring of rib moved strong and true with drive.

2nd: J FIEGE Chivas Regal Malamute Sanctuary (imp). Very masculine with correct wedge shaped head correct ear placement scissor bite, dark eye and dark pigment moderate turn of stifle, short pasterns and hocks excellent tail set moved with ease

3rd: Ms L HOLT Freezefactor Tis The Season at Breconfrost. Nice dog with balanced proportions correct proportions to head, good bite, arched neck leading to sloping top line good spring of rib. Good harsh coat, strong pastern’s large feet with strong arched toes

2nd: Mrs JE & Miss J SMITH Snowshoes King’s Legacy ShCM. Broad head good ear and eye placement dark pigment and dark eyes strong arched neck leading to a gently sloping top line, balanced angulations and good spring of rib good bone short pasterns and hocks strong arched toes. 1^st had a steadier top line on the day. Correct harsh coat.

3rd: Miss NJ SINGH Mountain Home Sledog Staxtacular (imp USA) Nice Black and White, broad skull of correct proportions, very dark eye and pigment. Lovely arched neck leading to moderate sloping top line, good spring of rib, coat of harsh texture,  good bone,  placed 3^rd due to moving too close on the out and back . lovely outline.

Very well presented

2nd: Mr I PULLIN & Miss K MOUNTSTEPHENS Ch Inupiat’s Qulit Henrik at Whitewalker (imp NOR). Masculine dog with broad wedge shaped scull, lovely broad muzzle dark eye and good pigment arched neck leading to strong shoulders and a sloping top line good tail carriage. Balanced angulations to front and rear, good spring of rib, moved with power. harsh coat.

3rd: Miss SJ FITHERN Monikoona’s Isildurs Light Lux JCh. Close call with number 2. Masculine boy with broad head good ear and eye placement broad muzzle good dark eye and pigment, good top line, and spring of rib, enough bone, nice strong pasterns hocks and feet, good tail carriage. harsh coat.

Just loved this boy, Masculine broad wedge shaped head with broad muzzle correct scissor bite, DK eye and DK pigment lovely soft expression arched neck leading to a gently sloping top line with correct tail set, well off for bone, excellent spring of rib. And well balanced front and rear angulations, large feet with arched toes, moved with ease and power, built fit for purpose, excellent harsh coat, and a worthy winner presented beautifully I was extremely pleased to award Dog CC,BVIS and BIS to this wonderful example of the breed.

2nd: Miss S WOLFE Ch Hawkeye Polarni Usvit (imp CZE). Another lovely boy broad wedge shaped head with broad muzzle good dark eye and pigment, small well furred ears, arched neck leading to strong gently sloping top line and great tail set, beautiful waving plumb, deep chest with good spring of rib, balanced Angulations, front and rear. moved with drive.

3rd: Mrs KE COPLEY-HOLLAND Ch/Am GCh Adair ‘N’ Hug Casual Class. Broad skull, deep wide muzzle good pigment and dark eye, soft expression, deep chest, good spring of rib, good moderate angulations to both front and rear, harsh coat and correct tail set and carriage, lost out to 2 on rear movement on the away.

1st: & BPIS Mrs JE & Miss J SMITH Snowshoes Silver Lining. Nice youngster with lots of promise. Feminine head. Of good proportions to a girl of this age, dark eye and pigment, good bite. balanced angulations front and rear, moved true on the away and back, carried firm top line on the move. Lovely harsh coat, and carried her tail with pride. Moved with drive.

Another feminine bitch with nice wedge head and broad muzzle, dark eye and pigment good bite, arched neck leading to firm top line enough bone, short hocks and pasterns good feet excellent tail and set, missed out on 1^st due to movement on the away. Went around the ring with drive.
3rd: Mrs S & Miss L PERFITT Samjoe’s The One And Only. Pretty girl with correct head and muzzle dark eye and pigment, gentle expression, correct bite. Well balanced front and rear.2^nd moved better on the day

Dk eye and pigment, arched neck leading to a gently sloping top line to a tail that is well set and carried correctly good spring of rib, balanced angulations to both front and rear, short pasterns and hocks, well arched toes, good for bone,  moved with power and ease

2nd: Miss AL DARLOW Iceclimb On Point. Well balanced girl forgot all of her coat, dark eye dark pigment feminine head with correct bite, good shape and proportions strong arching neck leading to steady top line when on the move, good tail well carried, spring of rib is good, enough for bone, 
3rd: Mrs JE & Miss J SMITH Snowshoes The White Witch. Lovely girl just missed out to 2^nd on front movement, nice head piece correct proportions correct bite, Dk eye and pigment, good spring of rib balanced angulations good feet.

Yearling Bitch (5 Entries, 2 Abs)
1st: Miss DOBSON & Miss WOLFE Sutarka La Dolle Vita. Pretty bitch good head proportions correct ear and eye placement, correct bite Dk eye and pigment, arched neckline leading to firm top line moderately sloped, good tail set and carriage, balance angulations to front and rear, good spring of rib, balanced on the move with steady top line. Short hocks and pasterns, harsh coat.

2nd: Mrs J WHYMAN & Mr J MURRAY Tailfly Flamenco. Pretty Black and White bitch nice head shape with good proportions, dark eye and pigment correct bite, balanced front and rear angulations slightly long in the loin, in good coat of harsh texture. Good feet.
3rd: Mrs S & Miss L PERFITT Samjoe The Dream Lives On (ai). Nice girl a little unsteady on the day so I could not fully assess, good coat of good texture, short hocks and pasterns and well arched toes.

Post Graduate Bitch (4 Entries, 1 Abs)

Pretty bitch good head proportions correct ear and eye placement, correct bite Dk eye and pigment, arched neckline leading to firm top line moderately sloped, good tail set and carriage, balance angulations to front and rear, good spring of rib, balanced on the move with steady top line. short hocks and pasterns, harsh coat

2nd: Mrs P WINDLEY Royaltaylor Catwalk Queen. Good head piece although ears are a little high, correct bite, good pigment and dark eye, good spring of rib, balanced angulations front and rear, short hocks and pasterns, in good harsh coat, balanced on the move good tail carriage.
3rd: Miss L SEMPLE, Mr C LOCKHART & Ms G GUILLAUME Chinanook’s New York New York (imp BEL). Pretty girl nice head of good proportions, dark eye and pigment correct bite, balanced front and rear, short hocks and pasterns, nice feet with well arched toes, just didn’t have the drive on the move that 1^st and2nd had on the day.

Mid Limit Bitch (3 Entries, 0 Abs)

Very nice black and white bitch, lovely wedge shaped head of good proportions, dark eye and pigment, scissor bite, soft expression arched neck leading to a strong top line, good tail set and carriage, excellent spring of rib. Short hocks and pasterns, balanced angulations to front and rear, good feet harsh coat, move with drive keeping a steady top line.
2nd: Mrs C CLARK Electra Illa Kuvianartok at Whiteout (imp POL). Pretty bitch with nice head piece good pigment and eye, balanced angulations to front and rear, harsh coat, held top line on the move, moved slightly close at front on return strong hocks and pasterns, strong arched toes good tail and carriage.
3rd: Mr B & Mrs S INNES Monikoona Mystique for Icycool. Pretty girl nice correct shaped head piece, dark eye and pigment, small well placed ears, balanced angulations a bit overweigh which I feel hindered what could have been nice movement, I liked her and feel she has a lot more potential.

1^st & RBCC: Mr J WADRUP Just Got To Love Me Polarni Usvit (imp). Pretty bitch beautiful head in correct proportions muzzle to skull, small ears and correctly Dark eye, dark pigment, scissor bite, lovely arched neck leading to a moderate sloping top line, good tail set and carriage, balanced angulations to front and rear good spring of rib, not in full coat but it was of harsh texture. Moved with ease and drive. Really like this girl.

2nd: Miss NJ SINGH Sledog Monsoon (ai). Another lovely girl nice head piece of good proportions, dark eye and pigment correct bite, balanced front and rear, enough bone, good spring of rib, nice hocks pasterns and well arched toes, held top line on the move, good harsh coat. Correct tail set and carriage.
3rd: Mrs M BUTLER Kaytoo Antarctic Anko. Pretty bitch, slightly out of coat,  dark eye and pigment, scissor bite, arched neck line leading to slightly sloping top line, balanced angulations to front and rear, well sprung ribs, moved with ease.

Open Bitch (5 Entries, 3 Abs)
1st: Mr RM & Mrs CL POWELL Monikoona Lady Luck of Fanilalaafon. Pretty girl with good skull to muzzle proportions scissor bite, dark pigment and eye arched neck leading to steady top line, good tail set and placement, correct harsh coat, balanced front and rear, moved nice and steady although I felt the heat of the day had taken some zip out of her, lovely tail carriage and set.

2nd: Mr R & Mrs N RABY Candrakanta Moon Child at Icemoon. Nice head piece good proportions skull to muzzle, wears sitting in the right position, nice dark eye and pigment, enough bone, balanced angulations, very good feet, did well on the move holding steady top line. Correct tail set and carriage.

Top line held steady and firm when on the move, balanced angulations front and rear, strong short hocks and pasterns, moved with ease and drive

2nd: Mr M BLACKBURN Ger/VDH/Int/Dk Ch Celticwolf Long Night ShCM. Another lovely girl with very sweet expression, nice balanced wedge shaped head, scissor bit dark eyes and pigment, lovely arched neck leading to slightly sloping top line , correct set tail and carriage, balanced angulations to both front and rear, well sprung ribs short pasterns and hocks, moved with ease but not as much drive as 1^st.
3rd: Miss SP THOMPSON Shomont Ras Ma Tas. Another good bitch, lovely head piece balanced skull to muzzle proportions good pigmentation  balanced front and rear, steady top line on the move, nice spring of rib, enough bone, harsh coat, good tail set and carriage.

Special Veteran Bitch – 10+ Years (2 Entries, 0 Abs)

2nd: Mrs AE ANDERSON Sledog Forest Trail for Cherubini ShCM. Another pretty bitch with soft expression, nicely placed eyes and ears, dark eyes and dark pigment, in good coat, of harsh texture, balanced front and rear, moved with drive holding top line, short hocks and pasterns good strong feet
